These two last described areasare consistent with pressure applied with contact with theelements. Petechial hemorrhages (two) were seen on the leftlower palpebral conjunctiva; both bulbar conjunctivae werehemorrhagic. The skin at the anterior right aspect of theneck had a poorly defined elongated contusion measuring 1-1/4"Dissection of the neck revealed multiple focalx 1/4".hemorrhages on the superior (proximal) segments of the strapmuscles involving the sternohyoid and the sternothyroidmuscles.
