Pathfinder Character Sheets

oleplaying games are all about yourcharacter. Whatever your game, raceand class, you spend a lot of time usingyour character sheet so it’s worth havinga good one.Dyslexic Studeos presenta surprisingly complete set ofCHARACTERSHEETSfor Pathfinder Roleplaying GameTMWhen I started playing D&D, I wasn’tquite satisfied with the default sheets. Ininvestigating the other options, I found manywith features that were interesting, but noneentirely to my satisfaction. I found myselfcompiling a list of desired features, and hadstarted designing these sheets before I realised. The feature I was most certain of was that eachclass would have a sheet of their own. There arehundreds of classes for D&D, each with theirown rules and variants, and a one-size-fits-allsheet can’t possibly do them justice: it wastesspace on things that don’t belong there, whilefailing to keep track of the ki points, spell-likeabilities, favoured enemies and sneak attackbonuses that make each class special. These character sheets are entirely free, and myonly hope is that they are useful to you.

HOW TO PRINTHOW TO USEYou are not expected to print and use this wholedocument. Instead, choose the pages your characterneeds. These sheets do not replace the Pathfinder books.Your group should always have a copy of the CoreRulebook, along with any books for classes you wishto play. You will typically consult the books each timeyour character levels up and when you need to checkthe details of some rule, spell or class feature. The easy way to do this is with the Character SheetComposer, on the project’s website. This will selectthe right pages for you and bundle them into one file.It will even adjust the colours for you. There’s a filled in example of a Bard on pages 6 to 9.TYPICAL PAGESA printed set for one player will generally consist of:Core pagesThe first page will typically have Character Info onthe front, and Combat on the back.A few classes use modified versions of these corepages — for example the Barbarian and Ranger, whose class features are closely tied to combat.Class pagesYou then need a sheet for each of your character’sclasses. There are a few classes that don’t needtheir own sheet, such as the Fighter, but they’re theexception.I typically choose to put the inventory on thereverse of the class-specific sheet.Support pagesSome classes require extra pages. For example, aWizard has a spell book and a familiar; a Druid haswild shapes and an animal companion; a Binderhas extra vestiges. A spell book is a good place tofill in extra details on spells, like damage, rangeand material components.Other sheets you may find useful include a partyinventory for sharing your loot, and a characterbackground for noting your character’s historywith NPCs.There are as many versions of Dungeons andDragons as there are groups playing it, andmore prestige classes, house rules, variants andarchetypes than I could ever hope to encompass.Where possible, I’ve included versions of the sheetsthat are more generic, with space for customisation. This includes a version of the character informationpage where the skills list is blank, and adaptableversions of several of the common base classes. If you need something special, how about making ityourself? As well as being free, these sheets are opensource. You can download the original files to makechanges.HOW TO GMAs a rule, the Game Master should avoid interferingwith their players’ character sheets. You have thewhole world to run, while players have only this onelittle character, so they should be allowed to own it.But players need help from time to time, especially ifthey’re new to gaming, so it may be your job to printout the character sheets people need, guide them inthe process of building a character, and nudge themwhen they forget to use rage or sneak attack. Youshould try to be familiar with the character sheetsyour players will be using. There are also a number of sheets towards the backthat you may find useful in running a campaign. Howyou choose to use these is entirely up to you – there’sno one correct way to run a campaign.COMPATIBILITYThese sheets are for use with the Pathfinderroleplaying game; they aren’t made for other versionfof Dungeons & Dragons or other games under theOpen Game License. There is a version of the sheetsfor Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 on the project’s website.

FEEDBACK & PARTICIPATIONThese sheets will continue to evolve based on yourfeedback. Drop me a line on the discussion thread inthe links at the end.I don’t promise to do everything people ask - they arefree, after all - but I’ll consider sensible requests. If you’d like to contribute yourself, you can downloadthe original files from the open source repository. You’ll need Adobe Illustrator CS3 to edit the files.Send them back to me, either directly or via adiscussion on a forum.CREDITSCreatorMarcus aytesters and suggestionsVangor Bob790 CosmicnutDoctor7SorukPaul 6 Bakkan Random832HOW THEY WERE CREATEDThe bulk of the sheets were made using AdobeIllustrator. PAGE 1: CHARACTER INFORMATIONThe first sheet is about what defines your character: their race, classes and skills.CLASS LEVELSSKILLSWhen you create the character, pick a favoured class (ortwo if you’re human). Each time you take a level that class, you get a bonus hit point or skill rank.Your character learns skills at they progress. There’s spacefor various bonuses and penalties, as well as conditionalmodifiers.ABILITY SCORE / MODIFIERFEATS AND SPECIAL ABILITIESEach class gives you certain number of skill ranks and hitpoints for each level. Add your INT modifier to the skillranks, and your CON to the roll of your hit die.Through a combination of class and racial features, storytraits, feats and other extras, your character becomesunique. In Pathfinder these increase retroactively, so adding a pointto your intelligence modifier when you reach level 8 wouldgive you 8 additional skill ranks to spend.CHARACTERINTAcrobaticsWISAppraise 2CHABluffCHA 5(Round down)Obsessive: 2 CraftImproved InitiativeMusical InstrumentsExtra PerformanceLow-light visionGo Unnoticed:Gnome Magic 1/day: Stealth on 1st rndto hide from flatDancing Lights, footed enemiesGhost Sound,Prestidigitation,Speak with Animals Lightning Reflexes 1 DC for illusion 2 saves illusion 2 Perception 4 AC against giants 1 to attack reptilian& goblinoidUntrained StringsClimbDiplomacy Strings or actingDisable Device ActingDisguiseEscape ArtistFlyHealLinguisticsPerceptionRideSleight of HandSpellcraftStealthSurvivalClassSkills 3Ranks 13211 12 314 5413 N/ASURVIVALN /APerform: String Perform: Act 161355 85Craft: Musical InstrumentsConcentration9139252 Knowledge: ReligionKnowledge: NatureKnowledge: The Planes–Profession: Servant 8 CONper level Use Magical DeviceKnowledge: 12WISd INTper level-2-3 STR9 CHA510 INT210 INT211 INT210 INT210 INT213211226Knowledge: : NobilityKnowledge: HistoryKnowledge: AnythingThere’s space at the bottomfor extra Craft, Perform,Profession and Knowledgeskills.
