However,the brightness of a light source can only be determined by knowing thenumber of lumens they produce.Light wastage can be an issue with standard incandescent lighting asthe light is dispersed (beam angle is normally 360 degrees), howeverLED lighting is focused meaning the light is directed onto the area tobe illuminated with little light wastage, this means the lumens perwatt are higher than standard incandescent lighting and is thereforemuch more efficient.The lumen per watt is the relationship of watts to light output.Lumens per watt lumen output wattage of fitting.For example:Halogen: 320 lumens 20W 16 lumens per wattCeiling lightingAll Sensio fire rated ceiling lights conform to Part B, C and E ofcurrent UK building regulations.
