YOU R ZODIAC FORECASTYEAR OF T H E DRAGON 2012EHTrofBorn in the Year of the Dragon (1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000)BESIDES being in conflict with the Grand Duke this year, there is also a string of negative starsresiding in the palace of the Dragon. So for those born in the year of the Dragon, it is advisableto avoid making major changes to your current situation as this will bring tremendous pressureand challenges.Born in the Year of the Snake (1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001)THERE are more negative than positive stars in your palace this year. Fortunately, some ofthe ill effects are being negated by the presence of Tai Yang, Tian Xi and Yu Tang stars. It isadvisable that you continue to stay focus and proceed cautiously to ensure a smooth sailingyear ahead.Born in the Year of the Horse (1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002)THOSE born in the year of the Horse are blessed with a string of positive stars – Tian Je, JieShen, Tang Fu and Ba Zuo in 2012, representing opportunities for gains and success. Theseauspicious stars are also helpful in negating the ill effects of other negative stars that are presentin the palace.Born in the Year of the Goat (1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003)THERE are more inauspicious than auspicious stars residing in the palace of those born in theyear of the Goat. However, Tai Yin and Guo Yin stars are your saviours in times of difficulties. You can approach your ladies’ friends for assistance as they are your noblemen for the year.Meanwhile, lie low and keep yourself safe and healthy by taking extra precautions in whateveryou do.Born in the Year of the Monkey (1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004)Those born in the year of Monkey San Tai bring support from your management andnoblemen in your career. There are a few reasons why the monkey may be unhappy thisyear. There can be some disputes and problems arising from betrayals and disappointments.Financially, there are possibilities of unexpected loss of wealth.Born in the Year of the Rooster (1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005)With Yue De, Sui He, Di Jie and Tian Chu residing in the palace of the Rooster, those bornin the year of the Rooster can look forward to a better year ahead. These auspicious stars willbring success in your achievements and accomplishments. Should you face any challenges orunresolved matters, it will be taken care of this year with the help of these noble stars.

Born in the Year of the Dog (1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006)Without any auspicious stars and having a string of inauspicious stars residing in the palace, thoseborn in the year of the Dog are also in conflict with the Grand Duke of Jupiter in the year 2012.This denotes pressure and challenges in the career front. Avoid making any major decisions ormovements in both your career and personal life. This is a year which you should learn to lie lowon your own opinions and learn to make use of others’ ideas for success.Born in the Year of the Pig (1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007)There is a host of auspicious stars residing in the palace for those born in the year of the Pig. ZiWei, Lu Xun and Long De bring you abundance of prosperity and happiness in the year of theDragon. Those born in the year of the Pig will be busy and working very hard which will prove tobe a rewarding year both in your career and personal life. Looks like amidst the depressing climatein the economy, you are the only one beaming with joy and prosperity! Any reason that can bea cause of unhappiness or setback would be your health. Pay extra attention to your health andmental stress as this can be the hindrance to your endeavors.Born in the Year of the Rat (1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008)THIS year’s luck would not be good for those born in the year of the Rat as the presence of moreinauspicious stars overshadow the two auspicious stars – Jiang Xing and Sui Dian.It would be best to focus your attention on your career and stay away from any disputes orarguments which could lead to financial losses.Born in the Year of the Ox (1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009)ALTHOUGH there are more inauspicious stars in your palace this year, fortunately, the ill effectshave been mitigated by the presence of the heavenly star Tian De, Fu Xing and Ban An.However one still needs to stay vigilant as there might be hidden misfortunes due to the presenceof Yin Sha.Born in the Year of the Tiger (1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998)THIS would not be a good year for those born in the year of the Tiger as there are three negativestars in your palace which indicate crying events due to the loss of loved ones. However, there aretwo positive stars which relate to travelling and study. Make good use of this opportunity to gainsome knowledge by attending seminars or courses. Movement and travelling can help ease thenegative effects from the inauspicious stars.Born in the Year of the Rabbit (1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999)Those born in the year of the Rabbit are fortunate to have the Nobleman residing in their palacethis year which denotes a helping hand in times of needs. Pay extra attention to health relatedmatters as therein also lay the sickness star. The 12-zodiac animal signs luck prediction is based on the analysis of the Auspicious stars and Negative stars residingin each of their respective palace. As the earth orbits around the sun, the planetary stars that reside in each of the 12palaces influence the events and well-being of the individuals. This form of yearly prediction can only account for 25%of the person’s BaZi as it only tells the condition of the year pillar. It is important that readers have sound knowledge oftheir own BaZi structure and luck cycles before adding this information for comparison. This will allow one to concludethe intensity of how the stars impact a person’s luck for this year. The above is an extract fromForecast 2012 book by Helen Ong.The book will be available in all majorbookstores at 18 per copy.

Children’sAdventure Camp!THE CSC 3-Day Adventure Camp @ CSC for Kids began on 29 Nov2011. It was an enriching experience for the 24 children involvedas they learned basic outdoor skills, peer communication andlife/survival skills, some for the first time! The children visitedvarious venues like the Tree Top Adventure, Marina Barrageand MacRitchie Reservoir where they took part in activitieslike conquering the obstacle course, rock climbing, outdoorcooking and kayaking. The children also enjoyed an educationalexperience as they undertook leadership roles and learned towork as a team over the 3 days. The most interesting part of the camp was when they wentgrocery shopping at NTUC City Square Mall for cookingingredients and subsequently conjured a dish with the help ofmess tins and solid fuel. Every child received a t-shirt and amemento photo as keepsakes. The camp was indeed a successand a memorable experience for all!
