Accessing ATARs Current Year 12s can open their ATARaccount with QTAC from Tues Aug 3(Opening of Admissions) ATARs will be released at 9am on 17December in 2021 The ATAR release is an online releaseonly, via the ATAR Portal. Students can opt in to receive an ATARrelease notification via email and candownload and print a results notice. Students who wish to study interstatealso need to register for their ATARYr 12s planning to apply for tertiary studyin 2021 also need to complete a QTACapplication from Aug 3. https://www.qtac.edu.au/atar/

What is preferencing? Preferencing is an important part ofthe application process as only oneoffer is received at a time, based onyour highest eligible preference Each application has up to 6preferences Preferences can be changed after theapplication is lodged, even after anoffer is made Each application comes with 3 freechanges as part of the application fee It is a good idea to keep onepreference change for when ATARsare released.

Education Access Scheme(EAS) Helps if your studies have been negativelyaffected by circumstances beyond yourcontrol Applies adjustment points to your rank tohelp you compete more equitably for anoffer You can apply to EAS as part of your QTACapplication Must include all the appropriate applicationforms and documentary evidence.
