ABOUTThe inaugural Southern Cast Iron Cook-Off is focused on promoting Southern Cast Iron as a brandand connecting the host city of Lake Charles and host state of Louisiana with those who have a passionfor travel, culinary adventure, and all things cast iron. Our goal is to build a world-class, family-friendlyevent attended by approximately 5,000 people in year one, with sustainable growth annually.The festival will invite at-home chefs to preregister in various categories and prepare original dishes onsite for judging.
