All Rights Reserved.Removing God’s Mask:The author, Nathaniel J. Merritt, has been hitchhikinghis way to Enlightenment since he was a teen. Becominga Jehovah's Witness at age 15, he ran away from homeat 17, and hitchhiked to San Jose, CA to escape fromhis rageaholic father. After some adventures there, hehitchhiked home to Michigan, where he was shunned bythe Jehovah's Witnesses at 19 for smoking pot andhaving sex. This sent him into a downward spiral wherehe hit rock bottom. Shortly afterward he was born againas a Jesus Freak in 1973. Then a fellow Jesus Freaktaught him to meditate, and this opened many new innervistas. This spiritual renewal led him to become aBaptist minister in 1980, and there he remained for 15years.Then Merritt began to yearn for something more thanhe was getting from Christianity. So he dove into thedeep waters of Zen Buddhism, and even became aBuddhist priest. Finding Buddhism “not a good culturalfit” after ten years, he returned to Christianity, but not asa Fundamentalist. Some say he returned as a heretic andblasphemer. This book is the culmination of all his seeking andstudy, as well as his many and varied spiritualexperiences. In this book, Merritt draws back the curtainon an ancient mysterious, spiritual path that the Catholicchurch has fought tooth and nail since Christianitybegan. Few understand this ancient path, and even fewerhave been initiated into it's secrets. Keeping it light andeasy to read, the author takes the reader down the rabbithole of the real Matrix, and turns the world upside downand inside out. Discover for yourself, in your own Bible, the lies of God in the Garden of Eden, and the Truth toldby the Serpent. For more information go to:www.nathanielmerritt.com or www.jehovahunmasked.com

EXCERPT FROM JEHOVAHUNMASKED!:Chapter 1The Christian ConundrumOrchestra of the dead. Woodcut by MichaelWolmegut, from Hartmann Schedel's LiberChrnicarum, printed by Anton Koberger,Nuremberg, 1493.oes the Bible really teach there is only one God? Ordoes it teach that many gods exist? Did AlmightyGod really create this material world? Perhapsanother, lesser god, created this material world? These are important questions, because the God ofwhom Jesus Christ spoke is a gentle, loving HeavenlyFather. Yet, the universe is overflowing with evil, cruelty, agony and death. How can one reconcile thereality of evil, cruelty, agony and death with thetheory of a loving Heavenly Father? For, as countlessthinkers have said:If God is all-powerful, then God is not all-good.If God is all-good, then God is not all-powerful.Either God wants to eliminate evil but is notpowerful enoughOr God is powerful enough to eliminate evil but doesnot want to do so.In other words, an all-good God would not make auniverse brimming with evil, pain, violence, suffering, misery and death. An all-powerful God might do so,but such a God would not be all-good. MainstreamChristians have danced around this issue for twothousand years but none of them have given asatisfactory answer to the Problem of Evil. Their“answers” have taken the form of mental gymnastics, verbal contortions, special pleading, misdirection,“smoke and mirrors.” However, there is a veryancient and wise solution to this dilemma. Theearliest Christians held this Key, this solution, andimmediately realized and adopted it because of theirunshakable Knowing (Greek: Gnosis, pronouncedKNOW-sis) of an all-good Heavenly Father. Gnosticis the name whereby the early Christians who heldthis Key were known. The reason? Gnosis means toKnow God as opposed to those who merely believe inGod. The Catholic church later rejected this Key ofGnosis. It is important to understand how and from whatsource the New Testament acquired its present formand “authority.” Then we can appreciate howimportant the Key of Gnosis is in understanding whoJehovah really is and therefore solving the problemof evil. So, we will take a few moments to trace thedevelopment of the New Testament “canon” orofficial list of books. When the Catholic churchfinally had the power of the Roman Empire behind itthrough the Emperor Constantine, those who heldthe Key of Gnosis were ruthlessly hunted down.Persecution and pressure to conform to the Catholicchurch or die resulted in their scriptures being seizedand burned. Thereafter, only writings bearing theapproval of the Catholic church would officiallybecome “scripture” through councils held by theCatholic church.

EXCERPTS FROM JEHOVAHUNMASKED!Chapter 2The New Testament MutatesAnd EvolvesThe fact that the Catholic church leaders in both itsRoman and Byzantine halves selected by vote whichbooks would become the New Testament, will comeas a shock to many Protestant, Evangelical, andSea-Pan, or sea-satyr, or sea-devil, or Fundamentalist Christians. (For the purposes of thisichthyocentaur; drawing based on a skeleton and book, “Fundamentalist” means someone whomummies. From Konrad Gesner's Medici Tigurini believes the Bible is inerrant and infallible in theHistoriae Animalium Liber IV, 1604.original autograph manuscripts. That it is wholly thework and word of God, the Truth in all it affirms)Most give no thought as to who said the NewTestament books are the right books. Nor do theyeven ask if perhaps some of the right books were leftout of the canon. All mainstream Christians of thewestern world, whether Protestant, Evangelical,Fundamentalist, Pentecostal or Charismatic, share thesame canon of New Testament books selected andapproved by the Catholic church. They use the CatholicNew Testament whether they are Catholic or not. (Iam not referring to the Latin Vulgate, but to thecanon of the New Testament itself, the list of NewTestament books).Chapter 5The Father Of LiesMacabre representation of the Tree ofKnowledge and Death. Woodcut by Jost Amman, from Jacob Rueff's De conceptu et generationehominis, printed by Peter Fabricus, Frankfurt,1587.Remember that Jesus said that Satan is “The Fatherof Lies.” (John 8:44) Well, let us look at Genesis inthat light. Let us see who told the Original Lie. If youread the allegory of the Garden of Eden, the Jehovahgods tell Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree of theknowledge of good and evil, because “in that day thoushalt surely die.” Genesis 2:17. On the other hand, theSerpent promised them “Ye shall not surely die. ForGod (the elohim, the gods) doth know that in the dayye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shallbe as gods (the elohim), knowing good and evil.”Genesis 3:4-5.

MerrittChrist blessing.Augsburg 1473From Plenarium,Chapter 3The Spiritual New TestamentFortunately, many of the ancient writings of the earliestChristians, the Gnostic Christians, came to light seeminglyby “accident” in 1945 in Nag Hammadi, Egypt. TheseGnostic Christian scriptures form a second, wiser, morespiritual New Testament than the Catholic New Testamentthat all mainstream Christians currently use. The books ofthe Gnostic Christian scriptures were originally written inGreek, then subsequently translated into the Copticlanguage, the language of the Christians in Egypt. In thisbook I will point out the Greek words underlying the Coptictranslation, to establish continuity with the Koine(“common”) Greek of the New Testament.I heartily recommend the Gnostic Christian scriptures toall those who have finished this book, whose eyes havethereby been opened, and who seek a purer stream than wehave in the corrupted Catholic New Testament. Yet, Icaution the reader against clinging to them as mainstreamChristians cling to the Bible. Do not make a paper and inkidol, or paper-Pope, out of the Gnostic Christian scriptures.Do not let them become a substitute for your own directpersonal experience and Knowing of God as mainstreamChristians do the Bible. These writings do contain the ancientGnostic solution to the problem of evil, the problem wediscussed at the opening of this book, as well as many otherspiritual gems. The solution to the problem of evil which the Scriptures ofthe Gnostic (Knowing) Christians explain, and which theCatholic church violently rejected, is this:The spiritual realms were formed from the Heavenly Father’sown Essence, the all-good and loving Father of whom Jesusspoke. Seven elohim or Archons, distant descendants of theAbsolute God, fashioned this material universe frometernally pre-existing dead defiled matter. These lesserelohim were unable, as well as unwilling, to fashion auniverse free of suffering and death. Read the very shortGospel of the Egyptians in the Gnostic Christian scripturesto explore this teaching further. The True God, however, hasbeen active through various Divine beings such as the Logos(Word), Sophia (Wisdom), Zoë (Life) and Charis (Grace), tobring us a direct Knowing of the Divine. This activityculminated in Jesus Christ. We will revisit this topic later inthe book, but for now let us examine the Biblical evidencefor the existence of more than one God.

EXCERPT FROM:JEHOVAH UNMASKED!The True Identity of theBible-God RevealedByNathaniel J. MerrittChapter 11The Light AndThe DarknessPaul in the New Testament asks us a very interestingquestion. He asks us “What communion hath lightwith darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14) Paul’s answer, ofcourse, is none. Light has no communion withdarkness, nor righteousness with iniquity. With thatfact in mind, a truly striking contrast betweenJehovah and the Heavenly Father can be found bycomparing 1 John 1:5 and Acts 26:18 with a numberof verses describing Jehovah. (Remember, when yousee LORD or GOD in all capitals in the OldTestament, the Hebrew is actually Jehovah, or moreaccurately, Yahweh) 1 John 1:5: “This then is themessage which we have heard of Him, and declareunto you, that God is LIGHT and in Him there ISNO DARKNESS AT ALL.” Acts 26:18: “To OPENTHEIR EYES, and to turn them from DARKNESSto LIGHT, and from the power of SATAN untoGOD.” Clearly, darkness is of Satan, and Light is ofthe True God. Now contrast those two verses withall of these verses describing Jehovah/Satan (emphasismine):“Then spake Solomon, The LORD said that Hewould dwell in the thick darkness.” 1 Kings 8:12.Witches and Familiars. Drawing after a macabmonumental brass plate from the vault of BishSchonberg, Naumburg, 1576.

EXCERPT FROM:JEHOVAH UNMASKED!The True Identity of theBible-God RevealedByNathaniel J. MerrittThe Bishop of Speier adoring the Virgin andChild. From an Episcopal Proclamation, Speier1483.Chapter 12One Fountain Or Two?On the one hand, we read in the Bible that “God isLight, and in Him there is no darkness at all,” and onthe other hand we have also read in the Bible thatdarkness is part and parcel of God. On the one handwe read that “It is impossible for God to lie,” and onthe other hand we read of Jehovah deceivingprophets and lying. On the one hand we read that“God is love” and “love is not jealous,” and on theother hand we read that Jehovah is a jealous god. Onthe one hand, we read the Sermon on the Mount and itscall to pacifism, gentleness, altruism, and that weshould “be perfect as the Heavenly Father isperfect,” and on the other hand we read of thesavage, vile, bloodthirsty, and murderous acts ofJehovah. On the one hand we are told “God is Love”and we have Love clearly defined for us in 1Corinthians 13:4-8, and on the other hand we seeJehovah behaving in a truly Satanic fashion ofundiluted evil. Are we really reading of only oneGod? Or is it obvious to you by now we are readingof at least two deities, one merely a god and one theMost High God? At this point we must askourselves, can both good and evil spring forth fromthe same God, a God who is Love personified? (1John 4:8, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.)

EXCERPT FROM:JEHOVAHUNMASKED!The True Identity of theBible-God RevealedByNathaniel J. MerrittChapter 17Donald Duck And JehovahAll of us grew up watching and enjoying the antics ofDonald Duck. We laughed as he slowly but surely lostcontrol of a situation, and then finally, in an impotentrage, threw a temper tantrum. Sometimes, it was hisnephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie who drove poorDonald to the brink and beyond. We can all relate toDonald because often we too are faced with a situationthat is beyond our control no matter what we do. Afterall, we are finite beings. However, when Donald Duckfinally came to the end of his rope and threw adestructive temper tantrum, he displayed three importanttraits:1.2.3.Death hunting the hunters. From Geiler vonKaisersperg's Sermones, De arbore humana, printed by Johann Gruninger, Strassburg,1514.He is impotent in the face of great difficulty. He utterly lacks self-control.He can be manipulated by others and bycircumstance. When Huey, Dewey, and Louie continued to disobeyDonald despite all his warnings, all he could really do inthe end was throw a fit and destroy things in hisimpotent rage. In this, Huey, Dewey, and Louiedemonstrated their control over their Uncle Donald. They could push his buttons until he could no longerrespond to the situation in a rational or constructivemanner, and he was finally overcome by his mindlessrage. Donald had been successfully manipulated andshown to be impotent. For one is truly impotent whenone can no longer respond to a situation constructivelyor maintain composure and self-control, and can onlyrage and destroy. As humans, we can relate to this. Itreminds us of our own finiteness, and our own foibles. However, when we read about this same behavior beingdisplayed by the supposedly omnipotent and omniscientgod Jehovah in the pages of the Bible, it should give usinstant pause for thoughtful analysis of Jehovah.Humans push Jehovah, over and over again, beyond hisability to respond to a situation in a constructive, rational, or self-controlled manner.Just as Donald Duck throws impotent destructiverages because he can no longer respond constructively orrationally, so does Jehovah. In the pages of the Bible, humans disobey this supposedly omniscient andomnicompetent god over and over, until he finallythrows a destructive temper tantrum. He kills everyoneon earth with a flood, sparing only a handful. He sends

ABOUT THE AUTHOR"I am now at Home, spiritually, though Iremain a pilgrim and stranger in this world."Hebrews 11:13.Gnostic Christianity is the inward, mystical spirituality that so manyWesterners are searching for in FarEastern religions. Jehovah kills all the firstborn sons of theEgyptians. Jehovah commands the Israelites to slaughtermillions of men, women, the elderly, children, infants, babies, and even rip unborn babies out of their mother’swombs. In his impotent wrath, Jehovah again and againdestroys vast multitudes of the Israelites, his own“chosen people,” because he can no longer find a way torespond in a meaningful, constructive, self-controlledmanner to their disobedience, despite his supposedlyomniscient, omnipotent, and omnicompetent nature. The Final Solution for Jehovah is always impotentdestructive rage and murderWe can laugh at Donald Duck's behavior because wesee our human finiteness and foibles portrayed onscreen.Yet, when we find such behavior attributed to asupposedly omniscient, omnipotent, and omnicompetent Jehovah, we should be horrified andrepulsed. Why? The real God is beyond our flesh inintelligence, power, and wisdom. That God is notsubject to our human finiteness and foibles, beingsuperior to our flesh, not inferior as Jehovah is. TheTrue God is always able to find a meaningful, constructive way to respond to any situation. The TrueGod could never be manipulated and controlled by finitecreatures as Jehovah is.“Huey, Dewey, and Louie” (the human race) wouldnever be able to exhaust the True God's mental andemotional resources and push it over the brink intoimpotent, murderous rage.As we have seen over and over, “Jehovah” is noneother than Satan the Devil. Those who worship that god,“The God of this Age,” and fill their mind with tales ofits impotent rage, begin to display such behaviorthemselves. Again I point the reader to the ChristianRight, as well as Christian history, for confirmation ofmy claim. It is only logical that we would become likethat which we worship, that which we give the highestplace in our minds and hearts. Those who worshipJehovah/Satan pose a continuous real threat to the livesof each other and to those of us who do not worshiptheir nasty god. Christian and Jewish history (and today'snews.) are overflowing with examples of the savagery ofthose who have filled their minds and hearts with theJehovah/Satan fiend.Wherever Gnosticism has arisen, those who worshipthe God of this Age have murdered Gnostics nearly toextinction. Why do you suppose that is so?

Jehovah really is and therefore solving the problem of evil. So, we will take a few moments to trace the development of the New Testament “canon” or official list of books. When the Catholic church finally had the power of the Roman Empire behind it through the Emperor Constantine, thos
