The course utilizes wordproblems, real-life applications using technology, and featuresprobability and statistics interspersed throughout the curriculum.GeometryCODE: 27.0630CREDIT: 1 H.S. mathPRE-REQ: Algebra IGeometry lays a solid foundation through the introduction of undefinedterms, definitions, and incidence theorems. Subsets and measurementsare covered. Logic is introduced as a basis for proofs. Proofs focus oncongruence, triangles, and quadrilaterals, but also deal with area, circles, spaces, volume, symmetry, transformations, and similarity. Thecourse includes an introduction to trigonometry and interspersedthroughout the course are analytic geometry features. The courseencourages the student to learn ―thinking skills that lead to truecomprehension of the presented material.Algebra IICODE: 27.0640CREDIT: 1 H.S. mathPRE-REQ: Algebra I, GeometryAlgebra 2 takes an advanced look at radical, exponential, rational, logarithmic, and trigonometric equalities and function—expanding theconcepts learned for graphing and solving linear and quadraticequations, conic sections, probability, statistics, and analytic geometry. The TI-83 Plus graphing calculator is used throughout the year to developconcepts and expand understanding.Text(s)Title, Author,Publish, ISBNPrice & Rec.VendorAlgebraInfoIPublisher: BobJones 45.00HHAlgebra I TestsPublisher: BobJones 14.50HHGeometryPublisher: BobJones 45.00HHGeometry TestsPublisher: BobJones 14.50HHAlgebra IIPublisher: BobJones 45.00HHAlgebra II TestsPublisher: BobJones 14.50HH8/4/12
