Karya Tama Rimba Cemerlang has a traditional accounting system, thus the payroll also done manually by HRD.The payroll system is calculated based on the attendance list which is obtained from the manual machine. Everyday theworkers have to register their attendance and leave so that it can be traced by the company in order to determine themonthly salary. Then the data will be processed by using Microsoft Excel. However, this system has severaldisadvantages such as the high processing time and the possibilty of incorrect input. Thus, in this research, acomputerized system is very crucial for the development of the company.In creating the new payroll system, first we do an observation in the company internal system. From the internal data,then the company willl be able to design the new payroll system that can be customized based on the needs of thecompany through a more structurized DFD, ERD, and tabels. However, the new system is the integration of payroll andadministration modul. Parts of the payroll system are basic salary, munch money, bonuses, taxation, Jamsostek, THRand cash bon. The administration process comprises the workers’personal datas, absenteeism, permission and leave,violation of rules and firing.Based on the payroll application, the satisfaction level of PT. Karya Tama Rimba Cemerlang as the user is 76%, thusas a conclusion, the application process of the new payroll system has fulfill the target and has the suitable system. Infact, this system able to support the company with a faster payroll report yet accurate.Keywords: Basic Salary, Payroll system, Taxation.1INTRODUCTIONOne function of HRD (Human ResourceDepartment) on a company is calculating salary foreach employee to the company. There are various wayscalculation process employee payroll, depending on thepolicies implemented by the company.PT. Tama Rimba Karya Cemerlang is acompany which is engaged in wood drying. Everydivision in the company has a payroll system that is notthe same with each other. This is because of differencesin company tenure, job type and the needs of thecompany (to save on expenses).The process of calculating employeessalaries are still done manually by Human ResourcesManager. The Process is calculated by counting thenumber of the days of each company's employeepresence for a certain period. The data has beenobtained is then processed and entered manually intoMicrosoft Excel program one by one. Then the inputdata is processed in a table that had contained thevariables in the form of salary deductions, allowances,basic salary, and others. The result is total salary ofemployees in a certain period.Manual accounting system is certainly hassome shortcomings that led to HRD experiencingdifficulties, such as requiring a long time in getting dataon the company's employees. Currently the number ofemployees at the company is approximately 55. For thetime being to process the data takes about two hours. Inaddition, the possible risk of error (human error) thatsuch a high frequency of errors in input data by HRPDF Creator - PDF4Free v3.0employees. HRD is often difficult to classify the data ofemployees of different divisions.Therefore, with the advances in informationtechnology that existed at the moment, is expected to becreated an information processing system using acomputer system to help overcome the weaknesses ofthe manual system faced by PT. Karya Tama RimbaCemerlang.This can be realized by designing anapplication that can perform calculation of employeesalaries of PT. Tama Rimba Karya Cemerlangautomatically so that counting can be produced morequickly and accurately.2PAYROLL SYSTEMPayroll system is a set of business activitiesand implementation of data processing relatedcontinuously. Payroll information system is able toperform automatic payroll calculation process in whichsalary components such as basic salary, allowances,commissions, bonuses, overtime, leave, calculation ofincome tax, jamsostek and others are included tofacilitate the calculation of wages [6].2.1 PAYROLL SYSTEM ACTIVITIESThere are several important activities in thehuman resources department, began recruiting andhiring, training, assignments, compensation (payroll),employee performance and termination of therelationship between companies and employees. Pph 21 is reportedand paid correctly by the taxpayer on income receivedor accrued in connection with the employment of oneemployer (Peraturan Direktur Jenderal Pajak, 2010).2.3 JAMSOSTEKJamsostek is a public program that providesprotection for workers to overcome the risk of certainsocioeconomic and operate using the mechanism ofsocial insurance. As public programs, Social Securityprovides the rights and obligations for certain overload(compulsory) for employers and workers under the ActNo.3 of 1992 which set the type of Program JaminanKecelakaan Kerja (JKK), Jaminan Hari Tua (JHT),Jaminan Kematian (JKM ) and Jaminan PemeliharaanKesehatan (JPK), while the obligations of theparticipants is the orderly administration and pay dues(PT JAMSOSTEK, 2010, par. 1-2)2.4 TUNJANGAN HARI RAYA (THR)In addition to benefits of existing payrolltaxes, businesses will be charged in return othersubstantial remuneration. THR is one type of benefitthat is often used by some companies in Indonesia.According to Permen 04/1994, which meant THR is theincome of workers must be paid by employers toworkers or their families before the religious holiday inthe form of money or other forms. THR is probably dueto additional income, people call it "Gaji ke-13".According to Permen 04/1994, any personwho employs another person referred to employers andpayers to pay THR. Legislation does not questionwhether an employer is an individual, a limited liabilitycompany, foundation, or association. In essence, everyperson who employs another person obliged to paywages in return for THR. Employers must pay workerswho had worked successively for 3 months or more.This regulation does not distinguish the status ofworkers, whether permanent employees, contractemployees, or part-time employees. Originally a workerhas worked for 3 consecutive months, he is entitled toTHR.employers and workers so that the goal, ideally, theharmonious relationship between employers andworkers can be achieved [5].3ANALYSIS AND DESIGN SYSTEMIn any information system applicationdevelopment is always going through the stages ofanalysis and design. [1].3.1 Problem AnalysisThe process of manually calculating salarycauses some problems in the company of PT. TamaRimba Karya Cemerlang. Problems faced by companiestoday are: A large number of company employees whoconstantly growing raises wage calculation processbecomes longer and not effective. The possibility of human error in the calculation ofsalaries To search for data takes a long time because data isnot stored properly.3.2 Requirement AnalysisBased on the existing problems, companiesneed a computerized system, especially in calculatingthe employee's salary that can support the developmentof the company, such as: Computerized system for employee absences thatcan be integrated with existing systems (fingerprintattendance machine) with an employee salarycalculation software. Computerized system to process employee payrollcalculation, so that the counting process can beconducted faster, precise, and accurate. Computerized system for data storage in order tominimize the risk of data loss. Computerized system that can perform a searchemployee data quickly and easily.3.3 DATA FLOW DIAGRAMThe design stage begins with the design DataFlow Diagrams (DFD). 4.5 Form Master EmployeeForm Master Employee is used to enterinformation related to employee data that existed at thecompany. Form master employee can be seen in figure6.4.8 Form JamsostekForm Jamsostek is used to determine theamount of the percentage of jamsostek paid by theemployee and the company. Explanations of table1 are as follows:Question A consists of 4 questions related to thedisplay and ease of application. Based on thequestions according to table 1, for assessment interms of look and ease of use application, thepercentage obtained is 78%.Question B consists of two questions related to theassessment of accuracy and speed of application.Based on the questions according to Table 1, theassessment of accuracy and speed of thepercentage obtained 68%.Question C consists of two questions related to thefeasibility of the application. Based on thequestions according to table 1, for assessment ofeligibility was 82%.5---CONCLUSIONSAbsenteeism in a computerized system canimprove the time efficiency of data process,because the data is directly stored in the databaseso that the process of calculating pay and leave ofemployees can be done more quickly.Applications are made to overcome the damage orloss of data caused by human error, because theapplication is made accompanied by backupfacility. The entire data of employees who are inthe database can be backed up into a singlebackup file.This application makes payroll reporting processbecomes easier and faster.Application is user friendly enough.From the re
