The newbudget did not repeal areduction of hours, and a7% cut will remain. (Exceptionsmay apply.) A workweek begins at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday andconcludes at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday. The recipient's monthly assessed hours shall bedivided by 4.33 to establish a recipient’s weeklyauthorized number of hours. Theweekly authorization of services shall be usedsolely for the purposes of ensuring compliance withthe federal Fair Labor Standards Act. Within the limit of the monthly assessed hours,a recipient's authorized weekly hours may betemporarily adjusted to accommodate unexpected,extraordinary circumstances. The State or County may terminate a provider whorepeatedly violates the 66 hour per workweekrestriction. A provider may be paid for up to seven hoursper week of "travel time." Travel time is timespent traveling directly from one location whereauthorized services are provided to one recipient,to another location where authorized services arebeing provided to another recipient. The newbudget did not repeal areduction of hours, and a7% cut will remain.
