With themnemonic “My Very Excellent Mother JustServed Us Nine Pizzas,” any brain can nameand order the planets. Stink’s Solar SystemSuperhero Scramble will use this mnemonic toline up the planets from the sun and back. Fireyour engines; we’re off!WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO GATHER A group of two to six players per game S omething to represent the sun, such as ayellow or orange ball or large cut-out circle P lanet Cards (reproducible; one foreach participant) S olar System Superhero tags (optional:with pizza gift certificates or couponsstapled to them) CrayonsTO PREPAREOptional: Ask a local pizza parlor to donatecoupons/gift certificates.TO PLAYTeach players the mnemonic for rememberingthe names and order of the planets: “My VeryExcellent Mother Just Served Us Nine Pizzas,”which stands for Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars,Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and the dwarfplanet Pluto.
