7Indiana BroadcastersAssociation Website3/6/2018StudentScholarshipProgram8EEO Breakfast3/8/2018Indianapolis,IN910Speaking InitiativeIndiana BroadcastersAssociation SpringCareer and anapolis,INEntercom Indianapolis participated in the Indiana Broadcaster’s ScholarshipProgram, donated 900.00, and aired announcements on all threeIndianapolis stations publicizing the student scholarship opportunity. Thisprogram awarded successful high school, college and minority students withcollege funding. Applications were made available through the IndianaBroadcasters Association website.Entercom Indianapolis hosted an informative breakfast for our recruitmentsource contacts. Entercom’ s Director of Engineering and EEO Coordinator,discussed radio job opportunities available and provided an overview of radiojobs in all departments. Recruitment sources were encouraged to refercandidates for our open positions.Entercom Indianapolis Continuity Director, was a judge for the IASB’s (IndianaAssociation of School Broadcasters) High School Competition’s live radiobroadcasts on Monday, March 12th. This event was held at the University ofIndianapolis. There were 12 students competing in the High SchoolCompetition for Radio Air Personality and Radio News Anchor. This initiativesupports students pursuing careers in radio broadcasting.Entercom Indianapolis participated in the Indiana Broadcasters AssociationSpring Career and Internship Fair. Entercom’s Operations Director greetedprospective job applicants and handed out station information along with a listof current job openings.
