9RadEyeTM GN This is an enhanced version of the currently available RadEye GNwhich is a Personal Radiation Detector (PRD) with Gamma andNeutron detection capabilities with high sensitivityfor search and find usage.The RadEye GN using CLYC as the detector material enables ThermoScientific to provide a unit with greater energy resolution and almost zerocrosstalk between the gamma and neutron channels even when detectinglarge quantities of high energy isotopes such as Cobalt 60or Thorium.Using CLYC has enabled TFS to produce a unit with even lower neutronbackgrounds than the original RadEye GN, which was already exceptionallylow for a scintillation based Neutron detector.
