Rental car expense incurred must be froma licensed rental car agency or authorized Kia dealer. Rentalcar reimbursement is not provided for parts delay, shopscheduling or for work not covered. You must receive priorauthorization for rental expenses by calling 866-440-1340.Rental reimbursement is limited to downtime repairs andends on the date of repair completion.7

Keep this booklet in yourvehicle at all times.How To Make A Claim:3. Provide “teardown authorization” when requested byFWS or Kia dealer, so that the repair facility can providean accurate diagnosis and estimate of repairs;When repairs are required, if possible, return your vehicle toyour selling dealer or any Kia dealer. If you cannot returnyour vehicle to your dealer or a Kia dealer, you musttelephone Customer Claims Center at 866-440-1340 duringnormal working hours to receive instructions. If you do notfollow FWS’s instructions, reimbursement may not be madeto you for the cost of any repairs. Authorization must beobtained from FWS prior to having your vehicle repaired. FWSreserves the right to inspect any vehicle before authorizationof any repairs. In order to make a claim you must:4. In the event of an emergency situation that occurs andFWS cannot be reached, you can proceed with repairs, butpayment will be in accordance with the other provisionsof the Limited Warranty;5. Submit a claim for reimbursement to FWS along withall required documents within thirty (30) days ofauthorization;1. Have your vehicle serviced according to the maintenanceschedule provided in the manufacturer Owner’s Manual.You must keep original copies of all repair orders,invoices and receipts from the performed services andmaintenance and present the originals at the time a claimis made;6. Retain all replaced parts until your claim is settled, as youmay be required to submit these parts for inspection.Failure to comply with the responsibilities outlined abovemay result in the denial of your claim.
