PA State Representative’sMarcy Toepel and Tom Quigley alongwith Senator Bob Mensch each sharedupdates on their regions before openingthe floor to questions from guests.Topics including pension reform,transportation, Veteran's Affairs,education funding, opioid crisis, andtaxes were discussed.Senator Mensch hosted his 5th Annual VeteransAppreciation Breakfast in November at the UpperPerkiomen High School. More than 450 individualsattended the event which included veterans,veterans’ guests, exhibitors and speakers. OurCommonwealth is home to one of the largestveteran populations in the nation. Mensch believeswe have an obligation to all veterans to honor their service andcontributions both in peace and war. This breakfast was a smalltoken of appreciation to our veterans. The event featuredspecial guest speaker Sergeant Major (Retired) Richard C. Hamp.He currently serves as Director for the Bureau of Programs,Initiatives, Reintegration and Outreach with the PennsylvaniaDepartment of Military and Veterans Affairs. In addition, localState Representatives gave formal remarks and thanked theveterans for their service. Veterans also enjoyed patriotic songsperformed by the Upper Perkiomen High School Women’s Choir.Attendees were also able to obtain veteran ID cards from BucksCounty and Montgomery County Recorders of Deeds.2Winter 2017Business UPDATE

As part of the ACE Code of Ethics,an ACE will only express an opinion on an entomologicalsubject when it is founded on adequate knowledge and honestconviction; and will be factual in all estimates, reports, andtestimony. "We're very proud of the work Sean did and theknowledge he gained in order to become certified ACE," saidNancy Dirks, " it’s exciting to know that Mike achieved thismilestone in his career.
