Thanks toyour generosity, we reached incredible milestones that are making a real difference in the livesof patients and families:nMapped the multiple myeloma genome in its entirety – a research first for any cancer andan extraordinary foray into the molecular and biological underpinnings of multiple myelomanOpened six new clinical trials in record speed through our affiliate organization, theMultiple Myeloma Research Consortium (MMRC), with 24 clinical trials opened overallnOpened trials more than 35 percent faster than the current industry standard in oncology – makingit possible for patients to receive treatments through these trials almost 100 days earlierThese accomplishments are but a glimpse of progress to come with your support in 2010 – fromlaunching several new trials to laying the groundwork for the development of better therapiesthat more effectively treat the disease.
