The Foothill Campus is located at 3035 East Foothill Boulevard in Pasadena. The Child Development Centeris located at 1324 East Green Street, just west of the main campus. Pasadena City College Rosemead is located at 4105 N. RosemeadBoulevard in Rosemead. It is an exciting road ahead!In ancient Rome, Lancers were in the vanguard of the armed forces, charging forward to lead the way to victory.That tradition continues at PCC today, where our Lancer ethos drives us to look constantly forward, striving towardour goal.PCC’s accomplishments speak for themselves. We are consistently ranked at the top of California’s communitycolleges in the areas of degree achievement and career success following academic completion. For decades,students have come to our college to launch themselves into the four-year college or university of their choosing,and our Pathways, Honors, and transfer offices are just three programs that make these individual achievementspossible on a grand scale.By bringing your presence to campus you will be joining a long line of successful alumni. Among the luminariesto have come to this campus before you include baseball pioneer Jackie Robinson (Class of 1939) and esteemededucator Jaime Escalante (Class of 1971). State Supreme Court Justice Joyce Kennard (Class of 1970) distinguishedherself as the first Asian American to serve on California’s highest court, and filmmaker John Singleton (Class of1985) has probed issues of race, class, and justice in films including Poetic Justice, Higher Learning, and Boyz nthe Hood. We draw inspiration from the stories of those that came before us, and I am sure you will be similarlydriven during your time here.This catalog is your index of programs and services at our college, and I encourage you to absorb as much asyou can from it.
