HOW TO USEWhat’s included? 26 2-page letter booksSetting it up1 Print pages double-sided and select to flip on the short edge.2 Photocopy the required number for your class.3 Students use the fold line to create a single double-sided letter book.TEACHING IDEAS1 Write the letters of the alphabet aroundthe rim of a paper plate. Write the lettersof the alphabet on 26 clothes pegs. Askchildren to match them up.3 Use string and alphabetbeads to make letternecklaces. The threadingaction is excellent forhand-to-eye coordinationand fine-motor skills.4 Children canpractice each letterby writing the letteron the cover pagewith pencils ofevery color of therainbow.2 Choose five letters and write each on alarge sheet of poster paper.
