Jesus, the World’s Savior“Thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shallsave his people from their sins.”—Matthew 1:21Never before in human experience hasthere been such a dire need for a competentruler. We need one who is able to lead the hateinfected nations of earth out of the crosscurrentsof selfishness and despair into the wholesomeatmosphere of trust and goodwill. Without thisthere can be no lasting peace, or security, eitherfor individuals or nations. There are many outstanding heroes whosenames and accomplishments glorify the pagesof history. But none of them had to deal withsuch complex conditions as confront the worldtoday, nor were their problems so numerous. JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

Today every nation has its problems, and noone seems able to find adequate solutions. The world needs a superman, to lead it out ofthe chaos that has developed from two globalwars. But where such a leader may be foundno one will venture to say.In the Bible, the Creator has given hispeople a blueprint of his plan for world peace. His Word reveals in clear terms that Jesusis the chief One in the divine arrangementsfor the blessing of the people. The song ofthe angels on the night Jesus was born issufficient to confirm this, for they identifiedhim as the Savior of the world, through whomGod’s goodwill would be manifested to thedying race. Those angels also prophesiedthat through Jesus there would come peaceon earth. But who is Jesus, and what are hischaracteristics? What reasons have we forbelieving he meets all the qualificationsneeded to restore peace to the chaotic world? We know no better way of finding the answersJESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

to these questions than to examine theprophecies and promises in the Word of Godwhich speak of him and of his qualifications. As we do this, the plan of God itself, as itrelates to Jesus, His son, will unfold beforeus in all its glorious harmony and beauty. The Word (Logos) Made FleshJesus had a pre-human existence. That fact is brought to light in John 1:1-3.In John 1:14 we read that “the Word wasmade flesh, and dwelt among us, (and webeheld his glory, the glory as of the onlybegotten of the Father) full of grace andtruth.” That the Logos was made flesh, thatis, transferred from his pre-human state tothe state of manhood, is revealed in the Bibleto be a fundamental feature of the plan ofGod. Hebrews 2:9,14 says that this was sohe might die as a human being for the sinsof the world. In John 6:51 we find Jesus’ ownexplanation of the matter, and he says he JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

would give his flesh for the life of the world. This sacrifice of Jesus’ humanity was as asubstitute for the forfeited life of fatherAdam. Paul affirms that “As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”(I Cor. 15:22) In I Timothy 2:6 the apostleexplains that Jesus gave himself a ransomfor all, and the Greek word here translated“ransom” means “corresponding price.”Here, then, is the philosophy of God’splan of redemption through Christ. Hisonly begotten Son was made flesh—perfectflesh—that he might become a substitute indeath for condemned Adam, and thus providea way of escape from death for Adam and allhis race. Thus did Jesus die for all mankind. The whole world praises the spiritof sacrifice on behalf of others, andrecognizes its value in those who wouldrule over the people. All know the evilthat results from a ruler seeking merelyhis own interests, his own welfare, hisown advancement, and the increaseJESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

of his own power, regardless of howothers might be affected. Perhaps one ofthe most praiseworthy characteristics, when possessed by those who attempt toadminister the affairs of government, iswillingness to spend and be spent in theinterests of the people. But in all the annals of history, no ruler,no statesman, no president, king, emperor,or dictator has ever matched Jesus in hisspirit of devotion, first to God and then tomankind. He “went about doing good,” theScriptures tell us. (Acts 10:38) He used hisstrength to teach others, as daily he carriedon his ministry of self-sacrifice. Andfinally he completed that wonderful life ofservice by voluntarily giving himself up tothat cruel death on the cross. Thus did the man Christ Jesus provehis faithfulness. The world will be ableto trust such a noble character as theylearn about him when his long-promisedkingdom is established in the earth and JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

functions as a world government for theblessing of the people.A Priest and KingThe name Jesus means one who saves—a savior. But God’s plan for saving the worldfrom sin and death is so comprehensivethat in order to help us understand all itsimplications God, through his Word, hasgiven Jesus many and varied titles, eachgiving some particular viewpoint regardingthe salvation brought by him to the dyingrace. One of these titles is “priest.”When we think of the title “priest” weare not to have in mind the misuse of thisterm by various denominational groups, butwe should go back to the Old Testament andnote the significance attached to its originaluse. God appointed priests to serve thenation of Israel in matters of worship. Theirwork was twofold—they offered sacrifice, and then extended blessings to the people, based upon the offering of sacrifice.JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

Thus it is with Jesus. He has alreadyserved as priest for the offering of sacrifice, and later will extend to the world theblessing of life everlasting, made availableby the sacrifice he offered. In the case ofthe priests of Israel, they offered animals intypical sacrifice, but Jesus offered himselfas the great antitypical sacrifice.Jesus is also appointed by God to beKing of earth, and in Hebrews 6:20; 7:1,2the apostle combines these two offices inthe person of Jesus. Thus we are remindedthat he will rule over the people and blessthem. Concerning this priestly King theprophet wrote:“All kings shall fall down before him:all nations shall serve him. For he shalldeliver the needy when he crieth; the pooralso, and him that hath no helper. He shallspare the poor and needy, and shall save thesouls of the needy. He shall redeem their soulfrom deceit and violence: and precious shalltheir blood be in his sight.”—Ps. 72:11-14 JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

A prophecy of this kind can beappreciated only in the light of God’spromise that Jesus shall reign over the earthfor a thousand years. It is not a matter ofwaiting for the people to accept his kingshipbefore he can rule. There is a definite timein the plan of God for the Kingdom to be setup in the earth. In a prophecy concerningJesus as the new King of earth, we are toldthat first he will dash the nations to piecesas “a potter’s vessel.”—Ps. 2:5-12A JudgeAnother title which the Scripturesassign to Jesus is “Judge.” As a judge healso will be a blesser of the people. Thepsalmist wrote concerning Jesus, “He shalljudge the poor of the people, he shall savethe children of the needy, and shall breakin pieces the oppressor.” (Ps. 72:4) Thegreat oppressor of the people throughoutthe ages has been Satan, the Devil. He hasenslaved the minds of men through deceit, and thereby prevented them from knowingJESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

and serving the true God, whom to knowand serve in the right way will mean lifeeternal.Traditional misconceptions of thejudgment day have hindered many fromappreciating Jesus as the great judge ofmankind. Instead of looking forward to thejudgment day as a time of blessing, theyhave dreaded its approach, supposing it tobe a time of doom for nearly everybody.Actually, the thousand years during whichJesus will “judge the world in righteousness”will be a time of blessing for the people.—Acts 17:31When our first parents transgressed thedivine law, they brought themselves and theiroffspring under condemnation to death. ButJesus’ death as man’s Redeemer provided away of escape from that condemnation. Thebenefits to be derived from the death of Jesusare available only through belief in him, andobedience to the divine will. But Paul raisesthe question, “How shall they believe in10JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

him of whom they have not heard?” (Rom.10:14) Few, as yet, have heard of Jesus inthe comprehensive manner necessary forthem to believe in him. But the Scripturesreveal that they will have this opportunityduring the coming judgment day.The judgment day will therefore be atime of enlightenment for the people. Paulimplies this in his sermon on Mars’ hill,in which he contrasts the “times of thisignorance” with the day which God hasappointed in which “he will judge the worldin righteousness by that man whom he hathordained,” Jesus Christ the Righteous. (Acts17:31) That will be the “due time” when thegreat fact that Jesus died for the sins of theworld will be “testified,” or made known, toall mankind.—I Tim. 2:4-6That the work of judgment will includeenlightening the people is indicated inRevelation 20:12, where we are told that the“books” will be opened and every man willbe judged according to the things “writtenJESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR11

in the books.” These books are by someerroneously supposed to contain the recordsof the past lives of the human race, andthe opening of the books signifies to themthat all will have their virtues and their sinsreviewed during the judgment day, and thusbe judged worthy or unworthy of everlastinglife. But there is nothing in the Scriptures towarrant this conclusion. The account declaresthat the people are to be judged by the thingswritten in the books, and Jesus said that his“word” will judge the people at that time.(John 12:48) The opening of these symbolicbooks must therefore signify a revelation ofthe truth as the standard of judgment. In Isaiah 29:11,12 a similar thoughtis brought to our attention. Here a “book”is discussed. It is a “sealed” book, whichcannot be opened either by the learned orthe unlearned. But the prophecy shows thatfinally this book is opened, enabling thedeaf and the blind to hear and see what is12JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

written in it. This prophecy reminds us of thespiritual darkness that enshrouds the peopleby the reign of sin and death, and assures usthat the time will come when this darknesswill be dispelled. Then the people will seeand know the divine will.It is this future day of enlightenmentthat the Bible designates the judgment day, during which Jesus will judge the world inrighteousness. It will not be a time merely forgiving awards and pronouncing sentence. Thework of judgment includes a test under theenlightenment which will obtain at that time. This will be the first real, full opportunitythe world will have had for believing onChrist and receiving everlasting life. Allcame under condemnation through Adam, and the vast majority go into the tombwithout even knowing that Christ died forthem. But during the judgment day, theywill be awakened from death, enlightenedconcerning Jesus and, upon the basis ofthat enlightenment, given an opportunityJESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR13

to accept God’s gift, obey the laws of thekingdom, and live forever.Wonderful CounsellorIsaiah 9:6,7 is a wonderful prophecy ofthe birth of Jesus and the worldwide scopeof the government which he will presideover. To help us grasp more fully what hisrulership will mean for the people, thisprophecy assigns him several meaningfultitles. “His name shall be called Wonderful,Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlastingFather, The Prince of Peace.”Some Hebrew scholars claim thatno punctuation should follow the word“Wonderful,” that it is merely an adjective for“counsellor.” We know, of course, that Jesus is“Wonderful.” No matter from what standpointwe view the Master, he is “Wonderful.” Butit seems that here the Lord is telling us thatJesus is a “Wonderful Counsellor.”This term “Counsellor” means morethan one who gives advice: it is more like our14JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

word attorney, one who represents a clientbefore the bar of justice. Jesus will act inthis capacity when he serves as “Mediatorbetween God and men.” (I Tim. 2:4-6) Hiswork as Counsellor will be akin to his roleas judge. In both respects he will deal withthe people to effect their reconciliation withGod, and thereby provide them everlastinglife.Jesus will indeed be a “WonderfulCounsellor” and a righteous Judge. Inanother prophecy we read of this futureJudge, “The Spirit of the Lord shallrest upon him, the spirit of wisdom andunderstanding, the spirit of counsel andmight, the spirit of knowledge and of thefear of the Lord; and shall make him ofquick understanding in the fear of the Lord:and he shall not judge after the sight of hiseyes, neither reprove after the hearing ofhis ears: but with righteousness shall hejudge the poor, and reprove with equity forthe meek of the earth.”—Isa. 11:2-4JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR15

One with such qualifications willdeal justly with the people, and under hisadministration those who desire to return toGod and to receive the blessing of everlastinglife on a perfected earth will be given everyopportunity to do so.The assurance that he will not judgeafter the sight of the eyes, nor accordingto the hearing of the ears is especiallynoteworthy. The most competent of all thejudges the world has ever had have beenlimited in making their decisions upon whatcould be seen and heard—they have beenunable to look into the hearts of the peopleand there discover their hidden motives, orwhether their words and conduct belied thereal facts of their lives. But Jesus will beendowed with divine powers of perception. He will know the truth concerning all, regardless of their professions. No wonderPaul said that the world will be judged inrighteousness by that man whom God hathordained!—Acts 17:3116JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

The Mighty GodAnother title ascribed to Jesus is “Themighty God.” (Isa. 9:6) This does not meanthat Jesus is the “Almighty God,” but it doesmean that he has been highly exalted in thedivine arrangement and that the Creator ispleased to have him recognized as a mightyGod and to be worshipped. In John 5:22,23we learn that the Heavenly Father hascommitted all judgment unto his Son, andthat he desires all men to honor the Son evenas they honor him.In Isaiah 53:12 the high position of Jesusin the divine arrangement is again broughtto our attention. In this chapter the sufferingand death of the Redeemer of the world areprophesied. Because of his faithfulness theCreator promises, “Therefore will I dividehim a portion with the great.” This wasfulfilled when Jesus was raised from thedead and highly exalted to the right hand ofthe throne of God. There he became “Themighty God,” the One to whom the wholeJESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR17

world may properly look for succor, and fromwhom, as the representative of the Creator, they may properly expect the blessings ofsalvation from sin and death.Another prophecy concerning Jesusforetold that his name would be “Immanuel,”which means, “God with us.” (Isa. 7:14) Thisdoes not mean that Jesus is the AlmightyGod, the Creator himself, but that he wouldbe the representative of God. Jesus’ comingto earth to die for the people was a wonderfulmanifestation of the love of God. (John 3:16)His miracles were an eloquent illustration ofGod-given power, which will be employedby the glorified Christ for healing all the sickand raising all the dead. The Scriptures declare that so far as theperson of Jehovah the Creator is concerned,no man can look upon him and live. (Exod.33:20) But in Jesus men saw the gloriouscharacteristics of God manifested. Andthrough the laws of his kingdom they willrecognize even more that through him the18JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

justice, wisdom, love, and power of AlmightyGod have become operative for their eternalblessing. Gladly, then, will the peoplerecognize Jesus as God’s representative, andthe manifestation of God’s presence in theirmidst.Michael Shall Stand UpIn Daniel 12:1 another title is applied toJesus, namely, “Michael.” The term Michaelliterally means “who as God”— that is, onewho acts as a representative of God. In thisprophecy we read that when “Michael standsup” there results a “time of trouble, such asnever was since there was a nation.” In otherwords, this title describes Jesus in connectionwith his overthrow of the kingdoms of thisworld, preparatory to the establishment ofhis righteous order in the earth. We are accustomed to think of Jesus askindly and peaceful. But the manifestation ofhis authority and power against wickednessand the wicked institutions of earth willJESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR19

cause trouble—“a time of trouble such asnever was since there was a nation.” Evennow we are witnessing the beginning of thistrouble, due to come upon the nations of earthat the end of the age. Even in the prophecyof Isaiah 11:2-9, where we read that Jesuswill judge the poor with righteousness, it isalso declared that “with the breath of his lipsshall he slay the wicked.”It will be on account of histhoroughness in eradicating all wickednessand all evildoers from the earth that peaceand tranquility will eventually come to thepeople. The universal state of happinessand good will, which will follow thedestruction of the enemies of God duringthe reign of Christ—even death itself(I Cor. 15:26)—is symbolized in theprophecy by the various animals of earthliving peaceably together. The “wolf shalldwell with the lamb, and the leopard shalllie down with the kid; . and a little childshall lead them.”—Isaiah 11:620JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

The Everlasting FatherIsaiah declares that Jesus will also be“The everlasting Father.” This does notmean, however, that he is the One whomwe, as Christians, address as our “HeavenlyFather.” The term father means life giver, and an everlasting father would be one whogives everlasting life. Jesus will do this forall those who, during the thousand years ofhis reign, believe on him and obey the law ofhis kingdom. The life received by the peoplefrom their natural fathers has been uncertainand brief, but all who then come to Jesuswill be given everlasting life.Another scripture which throws light onthe divine plan for giving life to the peoplethrough Jesus is I Corinthians 15:45,47.Here the apostle refers to Jesus as “the lastAdam,” and declares that in his resurrectionfrom death he was made a “quickening [lifegiving] spirit”; that is, a spirit being endowedwith the power to give life to others.JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR21

“The first man [Adam]” was of the earth, earthy. He and his wife were commandedto multiply and fill the earth with theiroffspring. Thus he became the original fatherof the human race. However, because hetransgressed the divine law, he brought thepenalty of death upon himself. This meantthat he could transmit to his offspring onlya measure of life, for they inherited hisimperfection, and thus automatically cameunder condemnation to death. Thus it wasthat “the first man Adam” fathered the racein a dying condition. But it will be different in the case of thelast Adam. The last Adam will regenerate thechildren of the first Adam and enable themto enjoy everlasting life. Thus he will be“The everlasting Father.” And Jesus himselfreferred to the Millennial Kingdom as thetime of “regeneration.”—Matthew 19:28In keeping with this, the prophecy ofIsaiah 53:10 tells us that Jesus shall see his“seed.” Verse eight of this chapter speaks of22JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

his being cut off from the land of the living, and says that there was none to declare hisgeneration. That is, he did not marry andraise a family as men ordinarily do, hencethere are no natural descendants of Jesus, noone to “declare his generation.”Yet the prophet states, “He shall see hisseed”; that is, children will be raised up tohim—not in the ordinary way, but by virtue ofthe fact that as the Redeemer of the world hewill be in a position to give the people life. Hewill be their lifegiver or father. And becauseof this, Jesus “shall see of the travail of hissoul, and shall be satisfied.”—Isaiah 53:11“Travail” is associated with the bringingforth of children, and here the prophet usesthe term for the method by which Jesus giveslife to the people. This travail is vividlydescribed in the 53rd chapter of Isaiah. Hewas “despised and rejected of men; a man ofsorrows, and acquainted with grief.” Also, hewas led “as a lamb to the slaughter,” as wellas being bruised and afflicted.JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR23

Yes, this was travail indeed, whichcontinued with him all the way to the cross, ending only when, from his bursting hearthe cried, “It is finished.” But out of thistravail will come a regenerated life for allof the first Adams children who will acceptit on the terms of belief and obedience. Thusshall Jesus “see of the travail of his soul, andshall be satisfied,” for countless millions willacclaim him as their father, their life giver, and with one accord will sing his praises, saying, “We will be glad and rejoice in hissalvation.” Praise God for his gift to men of“The everlasting Father.”The Prince of PeaceJesus, the Savior of the world, will alsobe “The Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6) Theangelic song which heralded the birth ofJesus features the happy theme of “peace onearth,” and finally this peace will become areality. Jesus will be the great King whenthe “mountain”—kingdom—of the Lord is“established in the top of the mountains,24JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

and . exalted above the hills.” (Micah 4:1)When the nations of earth realize the utterfailure of their own efforts to establish peacein place of the present distress they will say,“Come, and let us go up to the mountain[kingdom] of the Lord . he will teach us ofhis ways, and we will walk in his paths.”—Micah 4:2When the nations thus seek the Lord’sways and are willing to walk in them, theywill “beat their swords into plowshares, andtheir spears into pruninghooks,” and “nationshall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.”(Micah 4:3) Thus will the Prince of Peaceestablish peace among the nations. But he will do more than establishpeace between nations. This would stillleave strife and turmoil within nations. Jesuswill establish universal peace, which willmean peace among and within nations—community peace, family peace, and mostimportant of all, peace of heart.JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR25

This peace of heart will result frombeing at peace with God. The world ofmankind today is alienated from Godthrough wicked works. (Eph. 4:18,19; Col.1:21) But the Prince of Peace, serving asMediator, Counsellor, and Judge, willreconcile men to God. No longer will thehuman race be in rebellion against theCreator. And being in harmony with himand enjoying the sunshine of his favor, theywill have life everlasting.—Psalms 30:5Unto the Lamb ForeverJesus, the Savior of the world, isdepicted in Revelation 5:6,11-13 as a slainLamb. This symbolic description of Jesusis alluded to frequently in the Scriptures. In the 53rd chapter of Isaiah it is usedextensively in a prophecy of Jesus’ sufferingand death. The Apostle Peter explainsthat the prophecies not only foretold thesuffering of Jesus, but also the “glorythat should follow” (I Peter 1:11), and in26JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

Revelation 5:13 a beautiful description ofhis foretold glory is set forth. We quote:“And every creature which is inheaven and on earth, and such as are in thesea and all that are in them, heard I saying,Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power,be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.”Here is an indication of a completereconciliation so all-embracing that “everycreature” will sing the praises of God andof the Lamb. This does not mean universalsalvation regardless of belief or obedience, for another prophecy says those who willnot obey “shall be destroyed from amongthe people.” (Acts 3:19-23) But it doesmean those who accept the opportunity inthe kingdom will be restored to harmonywith the Father, and will honor both Godand his beloved Son, our Savior. With the LambThe Lamb which was slain for theJESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR27

sins of the world and is now exalted tothe right hand of God to be the King ofearth—“the lion of the tribe of Judah”(Rev. 5:5; Gen. 49:9)—is later in the Bookof Revelation pictured as standing on Mt.Zion. (Rev. 14:1) This is a symbol of hiskingly authority and exaltation. (Psalm2:6-9) In this Mt. Zion picture we are toldthat others are to be with the Lamb in thathighly exalted position—144,000 others.“These are they,” we read, “whichfollow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth.”(Rev. 14:4) These are the same ones referredto in Revelation 20:4, who sacrificed theirlives “for the witness of Jesus, and for theWord of God.” Because of this “they livedand reigned with Christ a thousand years.”These are the ones mentioned by theApostle Paul as the “children of God,” and“if children, then heirs; heirs of God, andjoint heirs with Christ.”—Romans 8:16,17These, in brief, are the true church ofChrist, called out from the world during28JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

the present age. For faithfully laying downtheir lives in divine service, they will sharethe kingdom honor and glory with Jesus. They will reign with him as priests andkings. (Rev. 20:6) They will be co-judgeswith him. (I Cor. 6:2,3) They serve withhim as “ministers of reconciliation.” (IICor. 5:18) In short, they will share the highhonor of all of Jesus’ high offices in thedivine plan for reconciling a lost world toGod. They will even share his heavenlyhome.—John 14:1-3As the “bride” of Christ, the churchwill also share in that glorious future workof giving life and perfection of mind andbody to the dying race. “The Spirit and thebride say, Come,” the Revelator writes,“and let him take the water of life freely.”What a glorious prospect!—Revelation22:17In Isaiah 11:1 Jesus is called the“stem of Jesse” (David’s father) but inRevelation 22:16 Jesus is called both theJESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR29

“root” and “offspring” of David. So far asJesus’ human life was concerned, he was adescendant of David, a “stem.” But in hisrole of Savior and Lifegiver he becomesthe “root” of David, that is, his source oflife. And not only David, but all mankind, will have an opportunity to enjoy theeverlasting life made available throughJesus’ redemptive work. The Morning StarRevelation 22:16 also speaks ofJesus as the “bright and morning star.” InMalachi 4:2 he is described as “the Sunof Righteousness,” who will arise with“healing in his wings.” Under the warming, healing rays of divine favor as they willradiate from him during the Millennium, all mankind will have an opportunity tobe healed—restored to perfection of life. But here he shines forth as the Sun ofRighteousness, he shines in the hearts ofhis true followers as the Morning Star.30JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

The morning star is one which makesits appearance just before the rising ofthe sun. In keeping with this illustration, the prophecies indicate that before theestablishment of Christ’s kingdom—beforethe world will enjoy the warming andhealing rays of the Sun of Righteousness—the Lord’s own people will recognize thepresence of Jesus through the pages ofprophecy and the signs of the times. Theysee him as the Morning Star while theworld is still asleep and unaware of hispresence.—II Pet. 1:19We believe the Morning Star is alreadyvisible by the eye of faith, and soon thedarkness and chaos of the world will giveplace to the stabilizing authority of Jesus, the new King of earth. The prospect isglorious, and we bid all to examine morediligently the prophetic testimony of theWord and be assured from its sacred pagesthat Jesus, who was born in Bethlehem twothousand years ago, who died on the crossJESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR31

as man’s Redeemer, who was raised fromthe dead as a divine being, is now presentand about to manifest himself to the worldas their king. Then will be fulfilled all thoseglorious promises of God of the rich anduniversal blessings of health and life whichall mankind will soon enjoy.32JESUS, THE WORLD’S SAVIOR

2 JESUS, THE WORLD'S SAVIOR Jesus, the World's Savior "Thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins." —Matthew 1:21 Never before in human experience has there been such a dire need for a competent ruler. We need one who is able to lead the hate infected nations of earth out of the crosscurrents
