The purpose of the review is to verify thatcompetenc ies are being taught and are equivalent to the postsecondary institution's course(s) which hasbeen designated as equivalent and for which college credit is being offered.This articulation agreement for the 25 credit(s) toward the Hillsborough Community College IndustrialManagement Teclmology Degree is effective upon final signature of both institutions' representatives,and will be reviewed five years from this date. Students may also provide valid evidence ofacquired skillsthrough portfolios, documented work history, and registered apprenticeship programsthat meet program outcomes as determined by the college.Industrial elective credits may also be awarded based on the type ofprogram, length ofprogram, certifications or licenses awarded under articulation agreements betweenPSAVprogram schools and/or industrial/technical license articulation agreements.Industrial elective credits may also be satisfied by the completion ofspecial courses andcertificate programs offered by the college specified in the elective section ofthecollege's degree plan.The purpose of this form is to document the validation of acceptable forms of evidence of thestudents' technical or industrial competencies and/or acquired skills that meet programoutcomes.The number of college credits awarded by the articulation agreement is determined by HCCfaculty's assessment of the certification/credential/PSAV. A minimum of30 clock hours oftraining or work experience will be required for every college credit awarded to a maximum of30 credit hours. The 30 to I clock hour conversion is based on the guidelines for state reportingand FLDOE unit definition of a clock hour.

Validation Mechanism: To be eligible for aiticulation, the student must show evidence of theircunent Electrician Program certification/credential and it must have been issued within three(3) years prior to their emollment in the program.(Rationale/Justification: Electrician Program certification represents industryacknowledgement of technical skill attainment of competencies in the AS in IndustrialManagement Technology program.
