The first step in your child’s journey is one of the most importantsteps of all. With the Kumon Instructor observing, your child takes a placement test to gauge their abilities inmath and reading. Along with your child’s test score, the Kumon Instructor takes note of your child’s concentrationlevel, speed, handwriting and more. The instructor assesses the information to determine the best starting point for your child, andthen designs an individual program around your child’s abilities, needs and goals.Kids are set up forsuccess from the start. It’s essential to your child’s longterm success in Kumon that theysucceed from the start and progressthrough the very first level withconfidence.
