All Corpus Christi courses are listed on the BC Council onAdmissions and Transfer website (www.bctransferguide.ca),which lists all schools accepting Corpus Christi College coursesfor transfer. Corpus Christi’s courses are designed to transferto UBC and other major universities, but as is the case with allinstitutions in the province, a few of our courses have not yetreceived credit at particular receiving institutions. This program has become very popular withstudents, who learn concrete leadership skills from well-knowncommunity leaders. INSPIRE students receive hands-onleadership training, access key resources, and take an activerole in a leadership activity of their choosing – all in a supportiveenvironment. They learn how to bring out the best in others,become more empowered, and enrich the lives of those aroundthem. Along with hands-on leadership training and access tokey resources, students develop a Legacy Project of their ownchoosing and present it at a gala in the spring. “Water Walk”: to highlight the lack of access to clean wateraround the globe Pilgrimage to the Abbey in Mission: to take studentsaway from the noise of the regular world so they can betterlisten to God and their own thoughts Yoga Retreat: to teach breathing, meditation and focusingtechniques for studying more efficiently, as well as nutritiontips for healthier eating Halloween for Hunger: to collect canned food onHalloween night to distribute to the food bank Raise for Hope: to raise money to send to the Philippinesafter Typhoon HaiyanHow it WorksThe class uses a seminar format and meets for a minimum of 2hours a week.
