HPLC ColumnsHPLC Columns & Bulk ResinsTHE MEASURE OF EXCELLENCETM

The Measure of ExcellenceHamiltonFor nearly 50 years, Hamilton Company has been satisfying customer needs in the field of precisionfluid measuring. It all started with syringes. Not commercial, mass produced medical syringes, butprecision measuring instruments. About 25 years ago Hamilton was the first company to develop andmanufacture pressure stable polymeric HPLC columns.ColumnsWe now offer 19 different polymer-based HPLC columns for reversed phase, anion exchange, cationexchange and ion exclusion separations. Two silica-based C8 and C18 columns are availablefor reversed phase separations.Choosing the Right HPLC ColumnBefore you select an HPLC column to separate your sample please check the Hamilton CompanyHPLC web site at www.hamiltoncompany.com/hplc/app index 1.aspor e-mail chromatography@hamiltoncompany.com for a complete list of compounds that havebeen separated on Hamilton HPLC columns.1

This brochure only contains a few of the applications which have been performed onHamilton HPLC columns. In the brochure, columns are grouped by separation mechanism:reversed phase, anion exchange, cation exchange and ion exclusion. The Recommended Uses Table below lists a few of the possible uses for each of thecolumn packings.Recommended UsesReversed PhasePRP -h1Long life column for LC/MS applications, synthesized DNA,and small moleculePRP-h5Reduced system pressure for protein and peptide separationsand enhanced oligonucleotide recoveryPRP-1General purpose pH stable long life column, synthesized DNAPRP-3Gradient protein and peptide separationsPRP-InfinityNonporous support for very fast gradient separation of large proteinsHxSil C8, C18General purpose silica-based reversed phaseAnion ExchangePRP-X100Anions, inorganic and organic using conductivity or UV detection.0 to 100% solvent compatible.PRP-X110Similar to PRP-X100 but for lower level anions (20 ppb to 20 ppm)PRP-X500Gradient separation of large proteins and labeled DNAPRP-X600Gradient separation of labeled and unlabeled DNARCX-10Isocratic or gradient separation of carbohydrate oligomers up to DP8RCX-30Gradient separation of complex carbohydratesCation ExchangePRP-X200Inorganic and organic cations using conductivity or UV detection.Separate mono or divalent cations depending on mobile phase conditions.PRP-X400Glyphosate and metabolite in drinking water.
