Individual Clinician PerformanceInformation on Physician ComparePerformance Year 2017OverviewThis document summarizes the individual clinician performance information, plain language measure titles 1, andutilization data that are publicly reported on Physician Compare. Physician Compare is publicly reporting clinicianperformance information from the 2017 Quality Payment Program. Performance information that meets statisticalpublic reporting standards (valid, reliable, comparable, and meet the minimum reliability threshold) is included in theDownloadable Database (§414.1395(b)). A subset of this information is available on Physician Compare profile pages.Any information publicly reported on profile pages must also resonate with patients and caregivers, as shownthrough user testing. Per the Medicare and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA), Physician Compare is required topublicly report final scores and performance category scores.
