The Parent should support the student in order to help him/her meet the School's academicand behavioral standards. The Parent agrees with the School Accounts Policy and payment of all fees as established bythe School and in accordance with authorized payment plans must be paid in full by the dateestablished. In the case of non-payment, the School may restrict students from attending classes,withhold report cards, and/or refuse re-enrollment for the following Term. The Parent will ensure that the student attends all regularly scheduled classes. In the event ofan absence, the parent understands that supporting documents of explanation for absence mustbe submitted. The Parents agree to cooperate and follow the directions of teachers and administrators inorder to support the progress of the student. The Parent understands that transportation services are provided to the student by a 3rd partycontractor. The parent agrees to comply with the policies and financial obligations set forth bythe company. Mount Sinai International School is considered only an intermediary between thetwo parties. The Parent understands that canteen/ Tuck-shop/ School Uniform services are provided by a3rd party contractor. It is the responsibility of the parents to comply with the payment schedulingset forth by said company along with its policies. In instance of conflict, the policies set forth bythe 3rd party shall be followed for resolution. Mount Sinai International School is considered onlyan intermediary between the two parties. The parent understands their responsibility to contribute to a positive school environment andavoid conduct which creates or promotes intolerance or disharmony between and/or among themembers of our school community and avoid making unfounded comments that may damagethe image of the School or the staff.Parent-Teacher Conferences are held at the end of each term. Parents are encouraged to contactteachers or counselors and Head of School (HOS) directly to review student progress or scheduleadditional conference times throughout the school year.Parent VolunteersOne recurring theme throughout all quality schools is active parent involvement. Parents withunique talents are invited to contact the HOS to discuss how such talent might benefit the MSIScommunity. Parents wishing to explore volunteer opportunities are invited to contact therelevant HOS.Gifts and DonationsNo employee of Mount Sinai International School or member of the Board of Directors will acceptany gift or benefit (including gifts “in-kind” or discounts) from any student, parent or vendor inreturn for services from the School. Whenever any employee or Board member receives or isoffered a gift from or on behalf of any students, parent or any person or organization doing orseeking
