How to Orderfor Your Property1All purchase orders must be faxed to your local sales representative for processing.A contact name and phone number must be included on the purchase order.2A Customer Service Representative will contact you to arrange/confirm the scheduleddelivery date.3Every NEW customer must submit an account application form, there are two options: Cash/Credit Card application Open Terms Credit applicationUpon receipt, review and approval of the appropriate application form, a customer’s orderwill be processed. *Trade, Dun and Bradstreet and bank references are required prior tothe approval of Open Terms Credit applications. Open Terms Credit applications may alsorequire an initial deposit to be paid in advance of any orders being fulfilled.4Normal lead-time is three to four weeks. Custom sizes require six weeks.5Delivery service for orders of 12 sets (or 24 pieces) or more is provided by Simmons atno charge within 400 miles of the plant and within the Continental U.S. only, providingthe location can accommodate a 53' trailer. Less than 12 sets (or 24 pieces) will incur aone-time 75 USD stop charge. Prices not valid for Hawaii, Canada, or Puerto Rico.6To make changes to an order, notify your representative in writing at least 10 business daysprior to delivery.7Simmons offers a custom-leasing option for qualified owners. Simmons Hospitality Bedding2018 Terms & ConditionsTERMS Cash with order: Cash, check,money order, Visa, MasterCard,Discover, and American Express 50% / Net 30: 50% depositrequired; remaining balancedue as or before product ships Open Terms: Net 30 days withapproved Credit (first orderminimum of 5,000 required)Each client must complete an accountapplication either for Credit or for a Cashaccount. When applying for credit withthe Simmons Bedding Company it is veryimportant the completed applicationwith all requested financial informationis submitted. Applications with omittedinformation could result in our inabilityto grant credit. In the case of LLC’s,Simmons requires the names of theinvestment partners and their creditworthy status. Clients have the optionof paying cash for an order to avoidsubmission of privileged creditinformation.CREDIT HOLDAll accounts are set-up with specificcredit terms and a specific credit line.If payments are not received within theaccount terms, all subsequent ordersare subject to credit hold until theaccount returns to a “current” status.CHANGE OF ORDERAll order changes (quantity, address,date) must be sent in writing a minimumof 5 (five) business days prior to thedesignated ship date. Verbal requestsare not accepted. This is requiredto insure acquisition of all the specialmaterials required to make qualityhospitality bedding products. In the caseof a change that is not communicatedto Simmons in the prescribed timeparameters, we reserve the right tocharge for extra costs. Any distance over400 miles the client will be charged for theincremental mileage over 400 miles.Property must be able to receive a53' tractor trailer. Delivery in equipmentless than a 53' tractor trailer is subject toadditional charges to be determined bySimmons. These arrangements must becompleted 10 days before shipment offirst order.DRIVER WAIT TIMETailgate deliveries include two (2)hours of driver wait time at no charge.Requests for additional time may resultin additional charges to the client.INSPECTION OF DELIVERYUPON ARRIVAL 6-9 business days in advanceof ship date: 30% restock fee Less than 5 business days inadvance of ship date or afterproduction: 60% restock feeSTORAGE CHARGEStorage charges of 50.00 per day, pertruckload, will apply for orders that arealready produced when delivery datesare moved out to a future date.DROP TRAILER CHARGESIn the event a client requires a droptrailer during an installation, Simmonswill quote the cost for the trailer rental,dead head delivery costs, and anyother needs required by the client. Asigned Release of Liability is required.Upon arrival, Simmons requires thatall products delivered be inspected bythe client or a designated agent. Alldiscrepancies should be clearly markedon the Bill of Lading. Discrepanciesinclude shortages and damages.Claims after delivery that were notindicated on the bill of lading will notbe accepted. Damaged or incorrectproduct should be refused at delivery.FREIGHT CLAIMSREFUSALS & RE-DELIVERYGENERALAny Simmons delivery that is refusedin its entirety, not for damage or incorrectproduct at the point of delivery, will incurfreight and redelivery charges. The clientmay be required to pay charges beforethe redelivery is scheduled.Simmons will process a freight claim upto 30 days after the delivery if damagesare noted on the Bill of Lading.WARRANTY CLAIMSIn order to file a claim, client mustcontact Contract Warranty departmentat: contractwarranty@simmons.com FOB Hotel property ordesignated warehouse Lead Time is 3 – 4 weeks Simmons pricing does not includesales tax. At the time of order, thosetaxes will be calculated and addedto the invoice, along with theminimum order fee if applicable,and are considered part of thepurchase price.
