Work OrdersOverview ofMIE Trak Pro FeaturesMIE Trak Pro is a complete ERP softwareprogram and includes the followingmodules:RFQ (Request For Quotation)The RFQ module gives you the ability to log allrequest for quotations from your customers for oneor more items in a central place. You can assigneach item or the entire RFQ to an estimator andcreate an approval process to review the RFQbefore submitting it to the customer. Thesubmission can be done electronically throughemail or printed and hand delivered. It providesinformation on the number of quotes generatedwhere orders have been received and the value ofthe orders over a specific time period.Quoting and EstimatingThe Quoting module gives you the ability to createdetailed quotes for single detail items as well ascomplex assemblies with operations, bill ofmaterials and tooling.Sales Order EntryThe Sales Order module gives you the ability tocreate sales orders from RFQs or enter Sales Ordersfrom scratch.Electronic Sales Order ImportThe Electronic Sales Order Import module givesyou the ability to import sales orders from a csv filereducing data entry errors saving time and money.The Work Order module gives you the ability tocreate work orders that go to the shop floor for thequantity that you want to produce on a single run.If you have more than one way to produce the itemyou can choose the router for the work orderaccording to how you want to produce it at the time.It calculates the BOM requirements for the quantitybeing produced with visibility to purchasing ofprojected on dock dates. It simplifies the log in for theoperator and the allocation of the material to thework orders on the nest.SchedulingThe Scheduling module gives you the ability to seework center capacities and where you currentlystand including which work centers are overloadedand where you have excess capacity.Quality ControlThe Quality Control module gives you the ability torecord discrepancies due to returns for thecustomer, in-process manufacturing issues andrejections when receiving items from yoursuppliers. You define the rejection reasons, thedisposition of the items, the failure type ifapplicable and a corrective or preventative action ifrequired. InspectionThe Inspection module gives you the ability torecord inspection information consistently for eachwork order customized to the item processes everytime you produce the item. You can easily getstatistical data from these records.Engineering Change RequestThe Engineering Change Request module gives youthe ability to manage engineering changes duringthe production process through notes and attacheddocuments.Purchase Order RequestsPurchase Order Requests gives you the ability tohave employees send requisitions electronicallythat have been submitted for approval, along withpurchase orders created for them, by a few simpleclicks. It also provides visibility of whorequisitioned the item when the item is received.Purchase OrdersThe Purchase Order module gives you the ability tobuy from the work order bill of materialrequirements to the job or to inventory. You cancreate blanket purchase orders and issue releases asrequired.Purchase Order ReceivingThe Purchase Order Receiving module lets youreceive items and attach certification documents tothe specific item and have the system track thecertified items and issue them to work order(s), thenhave the certification documents automaticallyprint when shipping the items to the customer.When the invoice from the supplier is received youcan match it to the receiver and post it so that it isautomatically added to aged payables and thegeneral ledger. MIE Trak Pro has the ability toautomatically accrue the payable and then reverse itout when the invoice is received.Inventory ControlThe Inventory module gives you the ability to seteach item to do physical inventory counts based ona number of days. The system will keep track of thelast date a physical was taken of the item and whenit is due to be counted again.The system supports KANBAN, and MPS on userselected items that is used in the MRP module.InvoicingThe Invoicing module gives you the ability to createinvoices from sales orders or from scratch.
