It is a state law that all children registered for school, whetherattending hybrid, in person, or all remote, have current immunizations on file in the health office. COVID Pfizer vaccines are now available for children aged 5-11 years old. Please consider vaccinating your children. It is also highly recommended to get your annual flu vaccines thisyear. This will help reduce flu cases and allow more space and care for COVID patients. Asalways, WEAR your mask properly, social distance whenever possible, wash your hands, don'ttouch your face and if not feeling well, please stay home. If your child is not feeling well andyou need a COVID test, please call the health office (520) 584-4817. We have Binax NowRapid tests we can administer with results in 15 minutes. We also have take-home kits with atwo pack of tests available for those in need. These tests also give results in 15 minutes. If youreceive a take home test, please report results to the Pima County Health Department. Theyhave been nice enough to help us out with these free tests and to keep them coming, we need tomake sure we are reporting results. If you have any questions, I am happy to walk you throughthe process. The health office is here to help you in any way we can. We can get through thistogether hand in hand, side by side together with Cougar Pride! Take care everyone and besafe.
