The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is accredited as aprovider of continuing nursing education by the American NursesCredentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.IntroductionThis two-day international conference is designed to educate HELPteams regarding strategies for delirium prevention, using HELP toimprove hospital-wide care of older adults, and creating a climate ofchange. Expert clinicians and experienced members ofHELP sites will share evidence-based information andclinical insights on selected topics regarding the influenceof HELP, delirium updates, and the larger policyimplications of care for older adults. Updates oncollaborative papers, expansion of the program, and innovative siteprojects will also be presented.Hospital Elder Life Program Social Work — This program is offered for 10.5 hours of SocialWork continuing education through co-sponsorship of the Universityof Pittsburgh School of Social Work, a Council of Social Work Educationaccredited school and, therefore, a Pennsylvania pre-approvedprovider of social work continuing education. These credit hourssatisfy the requirements for LSW/LCSW, LPC and LMFT biennial licenserenewal.
