When there are candidates who are equallyqualified, special preference shall be given to those with an interest in multiple sclerosis andneuroimmunology. The scholarships may be clinical or research, or a combination thereof. At thediscretion of the Dean of the School of Medicine, funds may also be used to support researchstipends, professional development, teaching materials, travel, and staff support for post-doctoralfellows in the Department of Neurology.
