Dear Friends,"Members one of another.” This is how Paul describes the followers of Jesus, andthis is our theme for diocesan convention this fall. How thankful I am for ourinterdependence in Christ. I truly might not have made it through the manychallenges of the last year without my friends and colleagues in this diocese. Yourwisdom is a gift. Your courage is a gift. And most especially, your prayers are a gift.For generations, our Diocesan Cycle of Prayer has helped us live into our call to bemembers one of another. I encourage you to make praying for the communitiesand groups listed here on their appointed Sundays part of your regular round ofcorporate prayer.If there is something in particular for which your congregation or ministry wouldlike prayers, contact Cathedral Administrator Brad Rothrock about a week beforeyour appointed Sunday. He will post your specific request on the cathedral’sFacebook page, and we will add your request to our prayers at our weekdaymorning prayer services here at the cathedral.Note that the Cycle of Prayer is arranged by deanery. We hope you will name thedeanery in your prayers, as it is another level of connection through which webless one another.This Cycle of Prayer is important. And it is just the beginning.
