Extract the downloaded file and install the software.c. Remember to check the “Stream Media Server” checkbox in theinstallation window.
Set up Stream Server: Step 1: Run the iVMS-4200 Stream Media Server.
Note: Keep the iVMS-4200 Stream Media Server running. Step 2: Set up stream media server in iVMS-4200.a. Run iVMS-4200 on the PC which Stream Media Server is running on.Enter “Stream Media Server” configuration.b. Click “Add” to add the stream media server, input a name and the IPaddress of the PC and click “Add” button after finished.
Step 3: Start previewing with stream media server.a. In Control Panel, enter the “Camera Settings” window.b. Select the camera according to your needs. Click “Network Connection”
and check the “Obtain video stream via Stream Media Server”. Selectthe Stream Media Server you just added and save the settings.c. If the server is successfully built up, the window of Stream Media Serverwill record the access of clients.
