He has a varied and busybackground with a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA fromDePaul. He has worked for suchcompanies as IBM, American Hospital Supply, Abbott Labs,and the First National Bank of Chicago, and recently retiredfrom Macy’s. For the last 24 years, he has been a teacher.He has taught at all grade levels including DeVry University,the University of Phoenix, and Western International University; and is still teaching Computer Information Systemsat Mesa Community College. He also works with state senators on legislation to improve our education system. Bythe way, if you use Uber, you might even find he is yourdriver!Here at the parish, Larry is a 4th degree Knight and hasushered at the 7:30 Mass for five years. He, and his wifeJoanna, have been RCIA sponsors and have been workingon the “Together We Go Forth” campaign.Larry says he likes being part of our parish because it is asmall, close-knit group of caring people who have beenthrough a lot together over the years. His suggestion tothose who are thinking about how to be more involved inthe parish is to take things that they like to do, and then dothem for the parish in any of our many ministries.Celebrate Marriage withBishop NevaresSaturday, September 29Ss.
