McLeod HealthJunior Volunteers Honored for Their ServiceThis summer, 191 teenagers ranging in age from 13 to 17 participated in the McLeod Junior Volunteer Program inMcLeod Health hospitals across the region.These teen volunteers donated 10,579 hours serving staff members, patients and visitors. Coordinated by McLeodVolunteer Services, the McLeod Junior Volunteer Program runs from June to August and allows teens to serve innumerous capacities throughout the hospital. McLeod Health Loris SeacoastMcLeod Health Carolina Forest ED Opening October 1Located at the heart of theMcLeod Health Carolina Forestcampus, this new 15-bed freestandingEmergency Department will providethe residents of Carolina Forest andsurrounding communities convenientaccess to excellent emergency care.lab. This is the only EmergencyDepartment located in Carolina Forest,suitably housed on the 42.5 acrecampus.
