MARCH 10, 2019For over 50 years, the Collection for the Church inLatin America has been a sign of the solidarity of theChurch in the United States with the Church in LatinAmerica and the Caribbean. The distance in ruralareas and deteriorated roads make it difficult for somecommunities to have Mass regularly. Languagebarriers and lack of resources make the catecheticalmaterials difficult to produce. We are called to shareour faith with all and this collection is a prophetic andbold way to do so. You have helped young peopleaccept the challenge to grow in faith by your ongoingsupport. You have given them the opportunity to growas leaders and to develop missionary hearts. Thiscollection will be taken up this weekend, March 9thand 10th. Please place your envelope in with theregular collection.19th Annual Diocesan CatholicMen’s ConferenceAssumption CollegeMen of all ages, (including teens and collegestudents) are invited to this important annualConference, scheduled for Assumption College onSaturday, April 6th.
