2Our Story So FarThe Intern Group was founded in January 2011 with a pilot summer program in Colombiaat the FIFA under 20 world cup where ten international students arrived in Latin Americato complete internships with FIFA. After a successful pilot, full programs were launched inColombia and London. The company has grown from 20 bookings in 2011 to over 1000 in2013.We now have 25 full-time staff furthering our company mission “to provide the bestinternational internship program globally, delivering our clients with a superb professional,personal and educational experience.” Opening our offices in Madrid and Hong Kong in2013 enabled us to expand our reach into two important global locations while furtherplans in early 2014 to open our offices in New York and Melbourne,will ensure that ourservice offering to international students remains globally relevant and provides fantasticopportunities worldwide.Meet Our DirectorsDAVID LLOYDManaging DirectorA British national, David studied at University College Londonand the London School of Economics. He previously lived inArgentina where he completed an internship at Rolex, perfectedhis Spanish and fell in love with the continent. She worked in theColombian stock exchange for 3 years with ValoresBancolombia. Johanna also lived for 2 years in London whereshe perfected her English and immersed herself in a newculture.KRYSTAL LEEIntern Hong KongHong Kong DirectorBorn in Hong Kong, Krystal went abroad to study in the UK whenshe was 16. After graduating from the London School ofEconomics in 2008, she worked in KPMG and Deloittespecializing in international tax consultancy. Being fluent in fourlanguages, she believes that people can only truly experiencethe unique cultural offerings of different countries by immersingthemselves in and living authentic local experiences.Intern LondonLEE CARLINLondon DirectorA native Londoner, Lee is passionate about using his ownexperiences to help young ambitious students achieve theirgoals.
