Positively PascoNEWSBright Futures Ahead for Class of 2019 GraduatesThe Pasco School District bid farewell to the 1,109 graduatesthat make up the Class of 2019 at commencement ceremonieson June 6-8.On June 6, 33 Pasco students received their diplomas as part ofDelta High School’s graduation ceremony at the Three RiversConvention Center. A total of 61 New Horizons High Schoolgraduates received their diplomas on June 7 at Columbia BasinCollege’s Gjerde Center. On June 8, 411 Pasco High Schoolgraduates basked in the sunshine at Edgar Brown Stadium during the morning ceremony, while 554 Chiawana High Schoolgraduates crossed the stage to receive their diplomas in theevening ceremony. In total, 306 Pasco graduates earned morethan 8.09 million in college scholarships this year.All four of this year’s graduation ceremonies were recordedand are available for viewing online.
