April 2016Iowa Tribal EldersEaster HandgameMarch 13, 2016The Handgame played by the Ioway is a social game with no cash betting. It is a game played similarly to “Button-Button,Whose got the Button?” All ages may participate.There are 2 sides with a scorekeeper and guesser for each side 2 players from 1 side hide the “buttons” while the guesser fromthe other side tries to guess the hand where the button is hidden. The hiders receive a score stick for each missed guess. The sideto win all the score sticks wins the game. 3-5 games will be played with the winners taking home bragging rights and prizes.Round Dance, give-away songs, and other games take place between each hand game.
