Weprovide an approachable space for all people in the community to find ways to enrich their lives. Operating since1988, we are a non-sectarian not-for-profit community organization, governed by a volunteer Committee ofManagement. Our wonderful volunteers support and help us in all areas of the house. We welcome all volunteersand actively encourage their contribution. Costs are kept as low as possible.Please feel free to visit the house and see what activities suit your enjoyment. We would love to meet you!MEMBERSHIPAn annual subscription of 15.00 is requested. This entitles you to have full access of the house facilities andparticipation in any of the class programs and activities (including any additional program costs). Members areentitled to nominate for the Committee of Management and vote at General Meetings.ENROLMENT FEESCourse/class enrolments can be made in person at the house or over the telephone. Cash, Cheque or Direct Debitfacilities only (credit card facilities available upon request). Payment is required in advance to secure a spot asmany classes have limited places.VENUE HIRELooking for a room to hold a meeting or facilitate your course? CSCH offers a range of equipped room options forsmall groups for venue hire. Facilities include computer room and classroom (interactive whiteboard), meeting/lounge area with projector, TV and Video facilities.Our large hall (wooden floors) with kindergarten play stations and outdoor play area – perfect for mother’s groupsessions.For more information in relation to venue hire, please call the office during business hours (please note: partyhire restrictions are currently in place)PRIVACY POLICYCSCH is bound by the legal requirements of “The Information Privacy Act 2000”. Caulfield South Community HouseEARLY LEARNING CHILD CARE SERVICES AT CAULFIELD SOUTH COMMUNITY HOUSE3-5 YEAR OLD KINDERGARTENTHURSDAY 9.30am – 2.30pmFRIDAY 9.30am – 2.30pmNaomi Goldman is our Bachelor trained Kindergarten Teacher and team leads our Kindergarten sessions.We combine the EYLF curriculum and a play based program built on observing and understanding each child’sneeds. Our program includes:- Sports Buzz or Child Yoga specialized sessions- Music & Movement specialized sessions- Community Garden planting and growing programsOCCASIONAL CARE SESSIONSMONDAY 9.30am – 2.30pmTUESDAY 9.30am – 2.30pmWEDNESDAY 9.30am – 2.30pmNaomi Goldman is our Bachelor trained Kindergarten Teacher and team leads our Occasional Care sessions.The programs provide a stimulating and caring educational environment in our spacious hall, with qualifiedassistant educators encouraging the children to play and explore.Minimum age for enrolment is 15 monthsPlease note, our child care programs are extremely popular, contact administration officeto secure a placement and enquire about fees and charges.Caulfield South Community GardenSCOOP COMMUNITY GARDEN AT CAULFIELD SOUTH COMMUNITY HOUSEOur Community Garden is open and inviting to all members of the community. Volunteers can assist with gardendesign, planning, planting, watering, pruning and general garden maintenance. Growing a vast array of fresh fruit,vegetables and herbs. Monthly open days, shared lunches, fun and friendship.Pop by and visit the garden, the chickens who love to chat and roam around the garden, our dedicated greenthumb members would love to meet and share the wonderful garden with you.Members of the Community Garden pay an annual fee of 20.00This membership entitles full access to the garden and all programs and activities inthe Community House. The Community Garden is overseen by a sub- committeeand meetings and Open Days are held monthly.Please contact office administration for more information and details of membership.

Having trouble with your mobile phone, connectivity to ipads and laptops?Our experienced volunteer tutors address all Microsoft Office applications and essential elements of the internet,social media etc., 5.00 per student per session – 9.30am – 11.30am Tuesday and ThursdayComputer Classes – 1:1 tuition available upon requestHaving trouble with IPAD or SMART PHONE - Ask questions and work through particular areas of difficulty with anexperienced tutor. You have their undivided attention for an entire hour! 5.00 per hour – by appointment (please see office for details)ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY HOUSE ARE WELCOME TO USE THE COMPUTERS IN THE CLASS ROOM andWIFI FREE OF CHARGE DURING OFFICE HOURSFUN AND FRIENDSHIP ACTIVITIES“Sit and Stitch” Handicraft CircleShare knowledge and skills from needlework to knitting. Participants are encouraged to bring “work in progress”to complete. Discover and tour local attractions by foot!Why not join the group where you can meet new friends, enjoy the fresh air and increase your level of fitness.Group size can determine the pace - moderate and advanced walkers are welcomed!All walking group participants must register as Community House members @ 15.00 annual feeTuesday mornings – set off time at 10.00am.Hatha Yoga by Nicole and VanessaOne mindful heart yoga with Nicole and VanessaYoga and mindfulness - one breath, one moment, one mindful heart at a time.Hatha flow class incorporating the traditional aspects of Hatha yoga - asanas (postures), breath, mindfulness andlistening to the body while flowing and moving with the breath to strengthen the body, calm the mind and openthe heart. Yoga class appropriate for all ages, accommodating beginners through to more experienced yogis.Tuesday Evening class at 7.00pm-8.00pm 12.00 per participant ( 10.00 for concession)Saturday Morning class at 9.00am – 10.00am 12.00 per participant ( 10.00 for concession)Tai-Chi in the Garden with NormanJoin Norman’s class to discover the unique effects of enhancing one’s health, strength, energy, flexibility andbalance through Tai-Chi. Cook up a storm with a fun group of people, sit down for dinnertogether. Fun, enthusiastic and experienced cooking instructors will lead the group and they will utilise the freshingredients right from the House’s own Community Garden!Every second Wednesday lunch at 12.00noon and Thursday evening at 6.30pm (call office for confirmation)Cost: Gold Coin Donation“Art Therapy - Coloring in For Adults” – Positive MindfulnessThis program is not only fun, but research shows it is a proven relaxation therapy to increase self-awareness,provides techniques to assist you in reducing stress and anxiety.
