MEET THE TEAMChristie StarkEric J UbieraOwner & VisionaryVP OperationsChristie Stark was born in Hollywood, Florida and hasmade her home in the Sunshine State ever since. She hasher Bachelorís Degree in Business Administration and aMasters Degree in Education at Nova Southeastern University. In 1992 she received her certification as a danceteacher from the Chicago National Association of DanceMasters. Ms. Stark is also a member of the ProfessionalDance Teachers Association and the International TapAssociation.Learning from the best in her field has contributed to Ms.Starksís successful career! She has studied with dancemasters including Patti Martin, Daria Melendez, HenryLe Tang, Linda Gache, and Al Gilbert. As a performer Ms.Stark worked with several local companies including LaMystique, The Miami Repertoire Company, and HollywoodPlayhouse performing in a range of productions includingCity of Angels, A Chorus Line, Can Can, 42nd Street, andCinderella. Before opening her own studio Ms. Stark wasthe pageant and dance director for the ABI studios.A talented choreographer, Ms. Stark has created awardwinning choreography for a number of events and performances including the Summer Olympics opening showin Atlanta, Georgia, the Miami Hurricanes halftime show,Disneyís Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, UniversalStudios of Florida, as well as various, local, annual productions.The year 1996 marked the opening of Ms. Starkís signature studio, Dancerís Gallery, which is located in CooperCity, Florida. Ms. Stark is a dedicated and hardworkingcontributor to the culture of the local and surroundingcommunities.Ms. Stark has generously served as a consultant to otherdance schools helping them develop programs and offera curriculum with wide-ranging appeal for students. Asan educator she is the most passionate about teachingtap dance! Her classes cover a number of styles includingRhythm Tap, Musical Theater Tap and Hoofing. Studentsconcentrate on listening skills as well as developing tapsounds, rhythm, quality, and basic tap vocabulary.Eric is inspired by the opportunities offered to him.From business coaching to sales and everything inbetween, his years of experience in real estate andwidespread history in the corporate / professionalsetting has given him the skills and network thatallows him to get the best results for the businesseshe runs.As a former executive for fortune 500 companies likeEckerd, Walmart and Walgreens he has an extensivebackground in business management. Eric led teamsof hundreds at Walmart and commanded a regionof 1700 stores while at Walgreens Co., he is comfortable presenting in groups of all sizes. In the realestate industry, he continues to show his leadershipby mentoring others and consulting businesses tosuccess.While he considers himself a Floridian at heart, Ericwas born in Dominican Republic and raised in NewYork City where he attended Brooklyn Tech HighSchool. Eric has been in South Florida since 1990 andobtained his Bachelorís Degree from Barry University with a focus on Business while majoring in Information Technology.When not helping others or leading a team, Eric canbe found testing the latest technology, rooting forthe Miami Heat, driving his convertible around town,or in the kitchen creating a meal for wife Christie,and daughters Alexia, Ariana and Jenevieve.
