Lurie Children’sHospital of ChicagoFeinberg School of Medicine,Northwestern UniversityChicago, ILDr. Swaroop is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in pediatricorthopaedics. Her clinical and research focus is on the diagnosisand management of neuromuscular pediatric orthopaedicconditions as well as complex congenital/acquired hip and footpathologies. She received her MD from the GeorgetownUniversity School of Medicine in 2002. She then completed anorthopaedic surgery residency at Northwestern University’sFeinberg School of Medicine and a fellowship in pediatricorthopaedic surgery at the Rady Children’s Hospital in SanDiego, California. Since 2008, she has been on the faculty of theNorthwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Inaddition to playing an active role in the education of residentsand medical students, Dr. Swaroop has delivered numerouspresentations and educational seminars at orthopaedicconferences around the country. She is active in research and hasauthored numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and bookchapters. She has been an AAOS Board Review course facultymember since 2011 and became a course director in 2013.Dr. Kadakia is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, associateprofessor, and director of the foot and ankle fellowship in theDepartment of Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern Universityin Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Kadakia completed his orthopaedicresidency at Northwestern University and went on to complete afoot and ankle fellowship at the Foot and Ankle Institute atMercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Kadakiaspecializes in foot and ankle trauma, reconstruction, arthritis,and revisions. Dr. Kadakia has multiple publications in bothorthopedic journals and book chapters and was Editor in Chiefof the Journal of Orthopedic Surgery and Research. He has beenheavily involved in education at both the resident and attendinglevel, both nationally and internationally.Anish R.
