The bride and her administrative userscan assign tasks to various guests, which the invention tracksthrough to their completion. The invention also provides onlineand interactive features to assist in wedding planning andmanagement, including budget calculators, wedding itemorganizers, task lists, calendar functions, guest managerfunctions, a message centre &community chat, printingmanagers, wedding day schedulers, and a weddingchecklist.[5]Computer system and method for providing an on-linemallA computer system and method for providing an on-line mall.An on-line mall environment is provided. The on-line mallenvironment is partitioned into at least one community andhaving at least one store in each community. Each store ismade available to a merchant to occupy. The merchant maycustomize the store by providing for storage on the on-line mallsite design data and merchandise data. Customers access theon-line mall through a remote location. The customers mayconnect with the on-line mall web site through directconnection to the on-line mall or through links provided byother websites. Customer specific data is stored on the on-linemall allowing the customer to enter purchasing data one timefor the many stores in each community. Customer purchasingselections are stored and submitted to the merchant on standardintervals.[6]System for providing wedding managementA system including a terminal and a network configured tocommunicatively couple with the terminal, the networkincluding a database configured to store informationconcerning the user and a wedding card, and a serverconfigured to provide web services that include receivingpersonal information concerning a user, determining whetherto authorize the user based on the personal information, granting a wedding card to the user based on thedetermination to authorize the user, where in the wedding cardis associated with an upcoming wedding of the user, andproviding access to a website for the user, where in the websiteprovides a wedding management system assisting the user inplanning the upcoming wedding.[7]Plan-based complex event detection across distributedsourcesComplex Event Detection (CED) is emerging as a keycapability for many monitoring applications such as intrusiondetection, sensor-based activity & phenomena tracking, andnetwork monitoring. Existing CED solutions commonlyassume centralized availability and processing of all relevantevents, and thus incur significant overhead in distributedsettings. In this paper, we present and evaluate communicationefficient techniques that can efficiently perform CED acrossdistributed event sources.32Our techniques are plan-based: we generate multi-step eventacquisition and processing plans that leverage temporalrelationships among events and event occurrence statistics tominimize event transmission costs, while meeting applicationspecific latency expectations. We present an optimal butexponential-time dynamic programming algorithm and twopolynomial-time heuristic algorithms, as well as theirextensions for detecting multiple complex events with commonsub-expressions. We characterize the behaviour andperformance of our solutions via extensive experimentation onsynthetic and real-world data sets using our prototypeimplementation.[8]An Analysis of Time-Dependent PlanningA framework for exploring issues in time-dependent planning:planning in which the time available to respond to predictedevents varies, and the decision making required to formulateeffective responses is complex. Our analysis of time-dependentplanning suggests an approach based on a class of algorithmsthat we call anytime algorithms. Anytime algorithms can beinterrupted at any point during computation to return a resultwhose utility is a function of computation time. We exploremethods for solv- ing time-dependent planning problems basedon the properties of anytime algorithms. [9]A Web-Based Comparative Analysis Decision SupportSystem: Wedding ArchA long list of preparations usually awaits soon-to-be brides andgrooms before their auspicious wedding ceremony. The mostcommon hassles the brides and grooms face includesregistration of marriage, wedding photographs, location for theoccasion, dinner ceremony, guest lists, seat placements and thelist goes on. Without guidance and recommendations, thesebrides and grooms face the unpleasantness of hunting for thesuitable bridal products and services. The ideal world for anycouple is to be able to retrieve information on the availableproducts and services, such as types of services and price lists,in the shortest possible time. However, the ideal world is verylowly part of reality. A web based wedding planner that lessensthe hassles and rogressively shortened the time consumingprocess is a step towards the ideal world. It would be desirable if the brides and grooms are able toacquire the information online or within the same location andsubscribe to a service that is able to assist them in thepreparations. Wedding Arch is a web based comparativeanalysis decision support system that assists the brides andgrooms in the process of planning their wedding.[10]III. METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FORWEATHER ADAPTED, CONSUMER EVENT PLANNINGA system and method for forecasting future retail performanceare described herein. The system includes a storage device thatstores a sales history database, a Weather history database, anda Weather forecast database. An analyzer determines the extentto which past retail performance of a plurality of products at aplurality of locations was affected by Weather using the saleshistory database and the Weather history database. Aconfigurator, coupled to the analyzer, estimates expected futureretail performance of the products at the stores for a plurality offuture time periods using the weather forecast database andresults produced by the analyzer. A graphical user interface, coupled to the analyzer and the configurator, enables users toview and manipulate results produced by the analyzer and thewww.scirj.org 2013, Scientific Research Journal

Scientific Research Journal (SCIRJ), Volume I, Issue III, October 2013 EditionISSN 2201-2796configurator to thereby forecast future retail performance of theproducts at the locations. In an embodiment of the presentinvention, a consumer Weather planner system allowsconsumers to perform Weather-based planning for futureevents (eg: golfing, vacations, Weddings, etc.).[11]Hierarchical production planning using a hybrid systemdynamic-discrete event simulation architectureHierarchical production planning provides a formal bridgebetween long-term plans and short-term schedules. A hybridsimulation-based production planning architecture consistingof system dynamics (SD) components at the higher decisionlevel and discrete event simulation (DES) components at thelower decision level is presented. The need for the two types ofsimulation has been justified. The architecture consists of fourmodules: enterprise-level decision maker, SD model ofenterprise, shop-level decision maker and DES model of shop. The decision makers select the optimal set of controlparameters based on the estimated behavior of the system. These control parameters are used by the SD and DES modelsto determine the best plan based on the actual behavior of thesystem. High level architecture has been employed to interfaceSD and DES simulation models. Experimental results from asingle-product manufacturing enterprise demonstrate thevalidity and scope of the proposed approach.[12]Sri Lanka Vital Statistics-Marriages-2003”, Statistics ofRegistration of bridegrooms statisticsVital Statistics cover Births, Deaths, Still births and Marriageswhich are called vital events. The source for the collection ofdata for the preparation of Vital statistics is the certificateissued to the respondent when the registration of theoccurrence of the vital event is done. Maintaining Vitalstatistics is an Administrative record keeping operation and is acontinuous process where the event by event data are collectedon a monthly basis and the final outputs (reports) are producedannually for dissemination. The computerization of vital statistics came into being afterthe arrival of computers to the Department of Census andStatistics in 1960's. Registration of vital events commenced in1867 with the enactment of civil registration laws whichconferred the legal sanction for the registration of eventsnamely, live births, deaths, still births and marriages.[13]Event Planning SystemAn event planning system of the type having a plurality ofindex-tabbed planning stage sections containing instructionsheets, preprinted forms and storage containers assembled in abook-like form within a cover is provided. The event planningsystem comprises: a front cover and a rear cover; a businesscard holder defining card compartments for disposing businesscards therein, the card holder being held between the covers; astorage envelope for holding documents therein, the envelopebeing held between the covers; a container for storing suppliestherein, the container being held between the covers; and aplurality of planning stage sections assembled in book-likeform between the covers, each section comprising: a primarydivider sheet having a projecting primary index tab bearingprimary indicia thereon indicating the planning stagerepresented by the section; at least one instruction sheet havinginstructions for performing the Planning Stage; and at least onepreprinted form having linear indicia adapted to record dataregarding accomplishing the planning stage.[14]33IV. RESEARCH METHODOLOGYRequirements Analysis“Your Dream” Virtual Wedding Planning System acts asguidance to those who are planning their wedding .The teamdid some data analysis on reviews given to popular web sites,Also met and had an interview with the professional weddingplanners to gather some information such as given bellow. How the normal wedding patterns are?\ How the plan distributed over the duration ofwedding? What is the most allowed schedule What are the current customs? The tam had an interview with the very recently marriedcouples and collected some information through questionnaireas well. Thanks to new couples they have given a pricelessinformation to the team, which helped much to develop asystem as the society wants. Some of them are posted bellow. How the new system should be to help to futuregeneration? What are the issues with the current systems? Why they are hating them? What are the issues with the professional weddingplanners? What is the need of such system?Development MethodologyThis section defines the methodology or the procedures thatwas followed in order to meet the main goal and also toaccomplish all the objectives. The methodology that was usedto develop the system is waterfall methodology which is one ofthe categories of Rapid Application Development.Figure 1: Deployment Methodology diagramDesignThe design phase describes how the system will operate, interms of hardware, software and network infrastructure; theuser interface, forms and reports that will be used; and specificprograms, databases and files that will be needed. The primaryobjective of the design phase is to create a design that satisfiesthe agreed application requirements. In the design phase of theSoftware Development Life Cycle process continues to movefrom the "what" questions of the analysis phase to the "how"questions. The requirements prototype that was developedearlier during the analysis phase is gradually improved and isextended to include all the specified functions of theapplication. Also, the planning of the system documentationprocess should be started during this phase.www.scirj.org 2013, Scientific Research Journal

Scientific Research Journal (SCIRJ), Volume I, Issue III, October 2013 EditionISSN 2201-2796Since poor design will lead the entire project team to a dangerpoint, it is very important to come up with a suitable andeffective design for the system. The design phase is carried outmainly by dividing in to 3 main sub parts. Functional DesignIn this, all the functionalities which were identified in theanalysis phase of the virtual wedding planner software. Interface DesignIn this, the graphical user interfaces for the wedding plannerhas designed. The Object Oriented Design (OOD) concepts hasused for the whole design phase. Unified Modelling Language(UML) will be used as a tool to implement the object orienteddesigning concepts. All the nine UML diagrams has been drawn in this stage. System DesignThe system developed and comprised of several components. The diagram explains how the ideal user of the system will gothrough the system and how it helps to relief from theworkload to the user from the date of plan upto the date ofweddingV. RESEARCH FINDINGS AND EVIDENCEVery initially the team has gathered information from theprofessional wedding planners and new wedded couples.Through that the team has gained valuable information such as Issues with the current online planners such asunreliable, not much user friendly and risk ofunavailability at any time. Expectations from the future society for instanceflexible with plan (week day for those who areliving in village where Saturdays and Sundays arenon- commercial days , week end for employeesand full time for those who are acting as awedding planners as a hobby for their relations),flexible with duration from wedding date to today, somebody who want to keep track the events andsome help to deal with venders Issues those are found after the marriage forexample one of the most important guest hasmissed, most of the key event has stopped becauseof payment has been forgotten etc. Issues with professional wedding planners such ashidden payments, get irritated once the couple haschanged the date for unavoidable reason, lessflexibility and get compelled to go for specificvenders who the couples are not happy withbecause of their commotion.VI. CONCLUSION AND FUTURE WORKSThe team has come up with the solution for the issue which thecurrent wedding planning couples have, as “Your Dream”Virtual Wedding Planner. Meanwhile this is a software it givesso many advance features to the planners those who areplanning the wedding It allows the user to plan more than one wedding at atime It gives more flexibility to the user It has allow the user to deal in three languages whichare used in Srilanka34 It allows the user to flexibility in change the weddingdates It gives the SMS reminder according to the scheduleOnce user purchase this software and install to the computerand be able to create new project. Until wedding finish thesame project will run and if user wants to run another project itcan start new project from the beginning. Then user can plantheir wedding according to the time period left. Event by eventuser will take alerts from the system. If the person wants tosearch some vender relevant to that event he/she can use searchengine and find. The Special thing in here is search engine willbrowse all the links that relevant to Sri Lanka. In this weddingplanning system the user can see budget planning also. Usercan add all the cost details and finally can calculate the budget. It will reduce the money waste and pre allocate the money aswell. There is another facility to generate templates.More over the main technique which is used to develop thesystem is send alerts on events of wedding to user. Mainly thissystem was implemented using by platform of C#.Netlibrary which is used for send alert. Our main objective is toprovide budget planning, send alert. And also search enginefacility to search the information relevant to specific event. This system will definitely fulfill the time, planning andsearching in future. On the other hand the success of thisproject will help the industry to expand the mechanism to otherrelated things for time, planning and searching.Current World finding wedding planner is easy. But findingwedding effective wedding planner is difficult. All of us knowthey charge high cost and sometimes not doing what the couplewants. So no worries with the “Your Dream” Virtual WeddingPlanning system. User can plan everything by his own. Noneed to worry about pre knowledge and experience. Systemwill take care everything and finally make more beautifulwedding.Even though the system has couple of limitations. One of thekey limitation is the user wants the computer somewhere toaccess the system. But nowadays home to home everybodyhave the computer and mobile phone somewhere. The problemis the wedding planners have to have some basic knowledge incomputer example how to switch on, how to open theapplication etc.Even though the team has finished the research with in ayear, it’s enough to introduce a system not to complete thesystem. Thus there are few more areas the team may considerin the next version of the release Mobile application (Compatible with each and everydevice in the world) \ compatible with each and every culture not in srilankabut in whole over the world compatible with global currency , time and language Currency converter and time converterEcommerce website with global clientsREFERENCES[1]"An Interactive Web-Based Wedding Planner with ts?hl en&lr&vid USPAT7881979&id IE3AAAAEBAJ&oi fnd&dq wedding planning systems&printsec abstract#v onepage&q wedding%20planning%[Accessed: Feb 23,2013]www.scirj.org 2013, Scientific Research Journal
