Vehicle has to be at least thirty years old.Vehicle must be inspected by the Club Registrar at least once each year (RMS pink slip is acceptable).Minimum insurance cover of Third Party Property Damage. Full Comprehensive is recommended,proof of cover must be provided to Registrar prior to initial registration or renewal.RMS has introduced a 2-year Trial program to test the viability of a new category of participation.The new program will permit the use of approved vehicles for personal purposes for 60 days in the year,in addition to attendances at authorised Club Outings.Owners will be required to maintain a Log Book showing the date, time and departure location for eachday that the vehicle is used. (Failure to maintain an accurate and up-to-date daily record could meansevere consequences for the member and our club!)Eligibility of your vehicle(s) may be reconsidered if the following vehicle attendances are not met :One Vehicle – Must attend three Club events each year.Two Vehicles – One vehicle must attend one Club event & the other vehicle two Club events each year.Three or more Vehicles – Each vehicle must attend one Club event each year.Any variation from these rules, for acceptable legitimate reasons, will require prior Club approval.Non-compliance can result in registration being cancelled. Two hundred and eighty eight cars in total in attendance.Three Members were awarded ‘Encouragement Trophies – 30 only awarded. They were Mick McIntosh, AndrewDrysdale and Jeff Pettitt . Jeff Pettitt won ‘Best Competition Car’ with his Mini.Coffee Run 23rd January to a ‘Mystery Location’ – to Russellton Industrial Estate, Wollongbar, then via Lindendale,Goonellabah and Monaltrie to ‘La Baracca’ Keen St Lismore for morning tea. Return via Tenterfield for Sunday ‘Show & Shine’ 5.00 entry.Other General BusinessYears of Membership Badges – Bryan White spoke to the meeting presenting his experiences over many years andhis opinion on badges that displayed a definite number of years membership (ten years). Bryan’s preference was tomodify the existing Club Name Badge to ‘include year of joining’ Bryan presented to the Meeting a sample he hadcreated, on paper, of the badge he was proposing. General consensus was that Bryan’s proposal met the Club’srequirement for ‘Years of Membership Badges’A motion rescinding the previous motion, passed at the December meeting, was passed and a new motion, detailingthe proposed new badge and details associated therewith was passed.Motion: That the Motion passed at the meeting on 5th December 2018 be rescinded.Moved B.White/G.Jensen – Carried.Motion: That the design of the existing Member’s Name Badge be retained and that the ‘year of joining be added tobadges being purchased by new Members. Existing Members may up-date their existing badges or purchase a newbadge in the new design. Moved B.White / G. Jensen - CarriedRecording of Attendances at Coffee Runs / Club Outings – Members / Families will be responsible for recordingtheir own details on the ‘attendance sheet’ which will be available and circulated at all events This particularlyimportant if you, the member, is on ‘Club Plates’. The Event Organiser will no longer be responsible for this task.Self Drive Hire of Classic Cars by the General Public – Following an inquiry from a member of the public,Members at the meeting were not aware of such a service operating in the North Coast area. The inquirer has beenadvised.Pepper Grinder presented to Jeff Pettitt – for winning a trophy for his ‘Mini’ at the Ballina Show ‘n Shine.Award. Robert Lovell advised the meeting that he has received recognition from the Vauxhall Register in the UKfor his work in restoring his 1925 Vauxhall 23/60. He will be presented with a trophy later this year.Meeting Closed: 8.25pm4

The badge has a smalllogo and your name. You have the choice of a magnetic fastener (quite strong) or a more traditional pinfastener. The badges cost 15.00.Club ShirtsThere are two options for club shirts:1. a button up chambray shirt (either short or long sleeve)2. a grey polyester polo shirtIf any member wishes to purchase a shirt for use on club outings the procedure is as below:Chambray Shirt:Purchase the shirt from George Gooleys, Lismore; they have all the necessary sizes and can providethe best fit. Take the shirt to either Lismore Embroidery (83 Keen St) or to Daleys ( 21 Woodlark St ) forembroidering of the logo.Bring your receipt for the embroidery to the Treasurer and the club will refund 5.00 towards the cost.Grey Club Polo Shirts:The club has purchased a supply of shirts (Sizes S, M, L and XL) as the manufacturer is discontinuingthis line. 10CLUB WEEKEND - FENWICK MEMORIAL ROVE TO YAMBA, 16TH – 17TH MARCH 2019,TOGETHER WITH ROVER CAR CLUB QLD.Hi everyone,Just a few details of the weekend club run to Yamba in March.The final program has now been worked out and we thank Geoff & Sue Kearns from the Rover Clubfor efforts in bringing this weekend event together.I suggest club members interested in attending the weekend book accommodation ASAP.There are some accommodation suggestions below or you may seek out any number of alternatives inYamba.Saturday 16th March:Meet at John Crowther Car Park, Cnr Dawson & Woodlark Sts Lismore at 1.15pm for 1.30pmdeparture. Alternative: Join at Woodburn before 2pm and travel in convoy to Yamba.Arrive approx 3pm for afternoon tea at the home of Geoff & Sue Kearns where we will view their cars.Their address is 14 Citrus Cl., James Creek, off James Creek Rd, turn right off Yamba Rd just over theBridge. After afternoon tea drive to Yamba and check into accommodation.Dinner will be at the Yamba Shores Tavern, 84 The Main Brace Yamba at 6.30pm (great outlook ontothe river). Need to drive (about 3-5 minutes - or get the courtesy bus). (Anyone interested in attending on Sunday only welcome to join morning drive at Maclean)We will drive through Maclean, cross onto Woodford Island and continue to Lawrence via a river ferry.From there we head up-river to Ulmarra (via another river ferry).Morning tea (great coffee and cake) on the riverbank at the Ulmarra Hotel. There are also some craftshops and galleries in Ulmarra, which is marketed as an example of a 19th century river port.Drive back to Yamba (only around 40 minutes) where we can have lunch at the Pacific Hotel (greatviews of the ocean). There have been a few obscure mentions of “whathappened in Oberon stays in Oberon”; suffice to say that it may bethat a licence will be required in future to operate a toaster?16
