Packing GuideBased upon the amount of time you are staying, please make sure to pack an appropriate amount ofclothing. There will be plenty of opportunities to get wet, muddy, or spill ketchup on your shirt. Forms - Arrival Information - Final PaymentPAPERWORK & FORMS - PRIOR TO ARRIVALAll camper forms can be found as online forms onthe Parent Dashboard. Log-into the ParentDashboard using the same email address andpassword you created for the registration process.To access the forms, look for the forms tab on theParent Dashboard and complete the paperwork foreach camper. The check-in process on Sundaysmoves more quickly if you complete all forms beforearrival. If you would prefer paper forms, pleasecontact the office. Required forms are: Camper Information Health History 1-4 Consent & Waiver Camper Health Care Pick-up Release(signed by physician)FINAL PAYMENTSYour balance should be paid-in-full two weeksbefore arrival. If the church is paying a portion ofthe registration fee, please make sure the portionyou are responsible for is paid.ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN INFORMATIONFull-week & Half-week Check-in RegistrationMain Camp Dining Hall2:30 - 4:30 PMDuring the Sunday check-in process, all camperpaperwork will be confirmed and finalized. Theprocess will also include turning in medications tothe camp nurse, answering updated medicalquestions, and having an opportunity to depositmoney at the camp store.Cabin assignments will be given at check-in, andcampers can move into their cabins after allpaperwork has been completed. Once camperscheck in at their cabin, they must remain with theircounselor. Parents are encouraged to help set upthe camper’s bunk and briefly visit with yourcamper’s counselor before saying goodbye.Camp Bethesda Check-in RegistrationBowersox Enrichment Center2:30 - 4:30 PMSEQUANOTA DAYS & ONSITE DAY CAMPDaily check-in is at the dining hallfrom 8:45 - 9:15 AM. Pick-up &sign-out is also at the dining hallat 4:00 PM each day. Pleasebring a bathing suit, towel, changeof clothes, including shoes,sunscreen. Lunch is provided daily. Each daycampers will visit the camp store for a snack. ( 2per day is sufficient for daily treats)SUNDAY AFTERNOON OPEN SWIMMINGROOMMATE REQUESTSThe swimming pool will be open to the public from2-4 PM on Sundays, June 16 - August 4, for yourenjoyment. A suggested 2 per person donationfor non-campers is encouraged.Every effort will be made to honor roommaterequests. Campers are assigned to cabins andfamily groups based onage in the best interest ofthe camper and the overallcamp community. If thereare any questions, pleasecontact us for more details.

Specialty Camps - Camp Store - CommunicationSPECIALTY CAMP EXTRASPlease bring the following items if youare in one of these specialty camps orwill participate in add-on programs.Outdoor Adventure — Bring 2 leakproof water bottles, sunscreen, a hat, an extra pairof long pants, a t-shirt, and sweatshirt/ fleece (thatcan get dirty), extra bathing suit, hiking boots, extrapair of old shoes (that can get wet), a framebackpack if you have one (camp has a few).Trek PA — Bring over the ankle hiking boots and 2flashlights for caving, a bicycle & helmet (camp hasa few too), but otherwise pack light!Guitar Skill Craft & Fishing Skill Craft — Bringyour own guitar and picks if you’d like. Bring afishing pole and reel as well as artificiallures and other fishing equipment. Forsafety reasons all hooks will be debarbed before use. Live bait will beprovided. Camp has guitars and fishinggear for use too.Survivor Skills — Bring an extra pair of long pants,a t-shirt, and sweatshirt/fleece (that can get dirty/wet). Fishing gear is optional too.Theme Week — Look for an email two weeks priorto the camp week for the daily themes andcostume suggestions.If you have any questions, please contact us. Anypersonal equipment brought to camp is theresponsibility of the camper. Sequanota is notresponsible for lost or damaged items.PHONE CALLS & VISITSWe welcome and encourage you to support yourcamper with notes from family and friends.Encouragement can come from letters mailed,letters dropped off at check-in or emails.Campers do not have access to telephones oremail so please do not encourage campers to callor email home. If there is an emergency, staff willcontact you immediately. The emergency number,available to you anytime is (814) 629-6627. Anycell phone brought by a camper will be kept in theoffice for safe keeping until the end of the week.There is also no visiting of campers allowedduring their stay at Sequanota.CAMP STOREAll campers have anopportunity to visitthe camp storedaily. At the campstore, campers maybuy camp shirts,souvenirs, postcards, water bottles, snacks,drinks, stamps and forgotten toiletries. Storemoney (cash or check) can be deposited for thecamp store during camper check-in. It will bekept on account for the week of camp. Werecommend 20-30 for the week. 2-3 per day isenough if not purchasing any souvenirs.Refunds can be picked up at the camp store onFriday evening during check-out & pick-up. Anymoney that is not picked up will be put toward thedesignated summer camp charity. Ask anysummer staff member for information on thissummer’s charity.SENDING LOVE & CARE PACKAGESIf your camper has a birthday coming up while atcamp, please notify the staff duringcheck-in and we will celebrate atone of the meals. Please do notsend or allow campers to bringfood. This attracts insects andsmall animals to the cabin.USPS MAILCampers love getting mail from parents and friends.Please be sure to send your mail by Wednesday atthe latest or it may not arrive in time. Departure Information - Lost & Found - Health CareDEPARTURE & CHECK-OUT INFORMATIONHEALTH CARE INFORMATIONOn Fridays, closing and pick-up will be at Founders’fire circle/chapel.The health and safety of eachcamper and staff member is of theutmost importance to us atSequanota. Campers will receivea health screening as part of the registrationprocess.Parents, grandparents and guardians are welcome to joinus for a 45 minute worship service beginning at 5:45 p.m.at Founders’ fire circle/chapel. Campers will be signedout to leave camp at 6:30 p.m. Family members areinvited to bring lawn chairs to the service since seatingmay be limited. (Rain location is the Main Camp DiningHall.)Prior to departure, it is very important that you Sign your camper out with their counselor at theircabin. Collect all of your camper’s belongings; it’s a goodidea to check the lost and found, cabin clothes line,dining hall, and craft cabin. Pick up your camper’s medications at the camp store. Check if there is a balance of store money at thecamp store.State law requires that all medications begiven to the Camp Nurse upon arrival(prescription and non-prescription). Ournurse team has found it very helpful todistribute medications that are already inbubble packs. We strongly recommend thatCamp Bethesda camper’s medications be inbubble packs. Your local pharmacist will havemore information on bubble packs.All campers, volunteers, and staff must havea current health history form before comingto camp.MEDICATION POLICY Half-week camper pickup is on Wednesday. There willbe a 30 minute campfire service at 6:00 p.m. in the MainCamp Dining Hall. Following worship, camper sign outwill happen with the counselor at the cabin at 6:30 p.m.Camp Bethesda campers check out after lunch onFridays, with pick-up at the Bowersox Enrichment Centerfrom 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.LOST & FOUNDWe collect LOTS of lost and founditems every week at camp. Pleaselabel your camper’s belongingsproperly. There’s nothing we likebetter than being able to returnthings to their owner! All lost itemsare kept until Labor Day, after which they are donated toa local charity. Feel free to go through the week’s Lostand Found items box, located in the Dining Hall, duringcheck-out if you suspect an item is lost. All medications must be in originalprescription container or bubble packfrom the pharmacist. If you are sendingover-the-counter medications, pleaseprovide written instructions from aphysician. Unless we have theseinstructions, we can only administermedications as written in our MedicalTreatment Procedures (approved by thecamp doctor).The first full day’s dosage of any newmedication must be given at home.Parents are responsible for picking upmedication or making shippingarrangements if forgotten.Parent Medical NotificationSequanota will notify parent/guardian of acamper injury or illness when: A fever lasts longer than 24 hours Flu symptoms last longer than 24 hours The Camp Nurse or Physicianrecommends that the camper be takento the Emergency Room or his/her office Emergency medical treatment is needed A reoccurring medical condition orproblem persists
