The fol lowing is a complete listing of publications and other releasesfrom 1948 through present time.BooksBooks are listed giving title, au thor, publication date, original pub lisher and where first published.E-MetersThere were many models of the EMeter throughout the years of itsdevelopment. In this listing the mostimportant ones are noted as they ap peared.FilmsA number of 16 mm films weremade between 1958 and 1970. Theseare noted as they appeared.In 1977 these films began to be re leased as 8 mm (Super 8) film cart ridges.A large number of new films arein progress and planned. These, aswell as the older films, are beingissued in the form of film cartridges.Where these appear in the listingthey are noted as film cartridges.InsigniaEach of the insignia of Dianeticsand Scientology is shown and de scribed as at the time of adoption.Taped LecturesThese are an issue line of both ad ministration and auditing technology.Tapes are listed showing tape num ber, lecture code (where applicable)and title. The tape number is a codefor the date as follows. The first twonumbers give the year, the next twonumbers the month, the C stands forcopy, and the last two numbers givethe day of the month. The lecturescodes, used where the lecture is partof a particular series, are defined inthe list of abbreviations.L. Ron Hubbard has said, “Thereare about 25,000,000 words on tapein archives which provide the con secutive path of discovery.“These tapes are not simply lec tures. They are the ONLY existingrecord of all the advances whichmade possible the handling of thehuman mind."A special unit has been set up atthe Flag Land Base, to get all tapelectures transcribed and publishedas printed volumes. The project iscurrently underway and is known asthe “Tapes to Books" project.
