ጸሎተ መባእ ዘሐዋርያት፡ ንፍቅ ካህን: ወካዕበ ናስተበቍዕ ይበል ዳግመኛም ሁሉን የሚይዝ የጌታችንንና ((፫-፵፩) Asst. Priest: The prayer of Oblationof the Apostles”And again let us beseech the AlmightyLord, the Father of the Lord ourSavior Jesus Christ, on behalf ofthose who bring an oblation withinthe one holy universal church, (3-41)45

a sacrifice, first-fruits, tithes, athank offering, a memorial,whether much or little, in secretor openly, and of those who wishto give and have not wherewith togive, that He accept their readymind, that He vouchsafe to themthe heavenly kingdom; power overall works of blessing belongs tothe Lord our God.46

ንፍቅ ዲያቆን፡ ጸልዩ በእንተ እለ ያበውኡመባአ። (፫-፵፪) Nifke Diyaqon፡ tselyu beente eleyabewu mebae Asst. Deacon: Pray for them whobring an oblation. (3-42)47

ሕዝብ፡ ተወከፍ መባኦሙ ለአኀውወተወከፍ መባኦን ለአኀት ለነኒ ተወከፍመባአነ ወቍርባነነ።(፫-፵፫) Hizb፡ tewekef mebaomu leahawwetewekef mebaon leahet lenenitewekef mebaane weqwrbanene People: Accept the oblation of ourbrethren, accept the oblation of oursisters, and ours also accept, ouroblation and our offering. (3-43)48

ንፍቅ ካህን: እግዚኣብሔር ኣምላክነ Nifke kahn፡ egziabhier amlakne (፫-፵፬) Asst. Priest: Lord our God who artAlmighty, we pray Thee and beseechThee for them that bring an oblationwithin the one holy universalchurch, a sacrifice, first-fruits,tithes, a thank offering, a memorial,whether much or little, in secret oropenly, and for those who wish to (344)49

give and have not wherewith togive. Thy acceptance of their readymind grant Thou unto every one; letthe recompense of blessing be aportion to all of them: through Thyonly begotten Son, through whom toThee with Him and with the HolySpirit be glory and dominion, bothnow and ever and world without end.Amen.50

Thou wouldest be the Lambwithout Spot for the life of theworld. We now pray and beseechof Thine excellent goodness, Olover of man, make Thy face toshine upon this bread, and uponthis cup, which we have set uponthis spiritual ark of Thine:56

Bless this bread, and hallow thiscup, and cleanse them both.And change this bread to becomeThy pure body, and what ismingled in this cup to become Thyprecious blood, let them be offeredfor us all for healing and for thesalvation of our soul and our bodyand our spirit.57

Thou art the King of usual, Christour God, and to Thee we send uphigh praise and glory and worship,with Thy good heavenly Fatherand the Holy Spirit, the life giver,who is co-equal with Thee, bothnow and ever and world withoutend. Amen.58

ዲያቆኑ ሲጸልይ ህዝቡ በመከተል በየምዕራፉአሜን ኪራላይሶን፡ አቤቱ ይቅርበለን”ይበሉ። ዲያቆን፡ አንድ ስለምታደርግ ሥጋውናደሙ እግዚአብሔር በይቅርታው አንድያደርገን ዘንድ ሰላምን እንማልዳለን (፫-፷፮) Deacon:- For the peace holythings we beseech, that God maygrant us peace through HisMercy(3-66)77

For our Faith we beseech, that Godmay grant us to keep the faith inpurity. For our congregation webeseech, that God may keep usunto the end in the Communion ofthe Holy Spirit. For patience ofsoul we beseech, that God mayvouchsafe us perfect patience inall our tribulation For the holyprophets we beseech, that God maynumber us with them.78

For the ministering Apostles webeseech, that God may grant us tobe well pleasing even as they werewell pleasing, apportion unto us alot with them. For the Holy martyrs we beseech,that God may grant us to perfectthe same conversation.79

For the deacons we beseech, thatGod may grant them to run aperfect course, and draw themhigh unto Him in holiness, andremember their labor and theirlove.80

For the assistant deacons and theanagnosts and the singers webeseech, that God grant them toperfect the diligence of their faith.For the widows and the bereavedwe beseech, that God may heartheir prayers and vouchsafe themabundantly in their hearts thegrace of the Holy Spirit andaccept their labor.81

For our Patriarch and the blessedArchbishop we beseech, that grantthem length of days to be over us,that with understanding they mayrightly speak the word of faith inpurity without spot for that theyare the defenders of the church.82

For the priests we beseech, thatGod may never take from themthe spirit of priesthood, and maygive them the grace of zeal andfear of Him unto the end andaccept their labor. For the virginswe beseech, that God may grantthem the crown of virginity,83

and that they may be unto Godsons and daughters and that Hemay accept their labor. For thosewho suffer patiently we beseech,that God grant them to receivetheir rewards through patience.For the laity and faithful webeseech, that God may grant themcomplete faith which they maykeep in purity.84

For the catechumens we beseech,that God may grant them a goodportion and the washing ofregeneration for the remission ofsin, and seal them with the seal ofthe Holy Trinity. For our leaders we beseech, thatGod may vouchsafe them muchpeace in their days85

For the rulers and those inauthority we beseech, that Godmay grant them of His wisdomand His fear. For the whole worldwe beseech, that God shouldhasten His purpose and put intothe mind of all and each to desirethat which is good and expedient86

For them that travel by sea and byland we beseech, that God shouldguide them with a merciful righthand and let them enter theirhome in safety and peace. For thehungry and the thirsty webeseech, that God should grantthem their daily food.87

For the sad and the sorrowful webeseech, that God may give themperfect consolation. For the captives, we beseech, thatGod may restore them to theircounty in peace. For those whowere sent away we beseech, thatGod should grant them completereward for their labor.88

For the sick and the diseased webeseech, that God should healthem speedily and send upon themmercy and compassion. For those who have fallen asleepin his holy church we beseech,that God may vouchsafe them aplace to rest.89

For those who have sinned, ourfathers and our brothers webeseech, that God cherish notanger against them, but grantthem rest and relief from Hiswrath. For the rains we beseech, thatGod may send rain on the placethat needs it.90

For the water of the rivers webeseech, that God should fill themunto their due measure andbounds. For the fruits of the earth webeseech, that God may grant tothe earth her fruit for sowing andfor harvest.91

And all of us who ask and beseechin prayer, may He cover us withthe spirit of peace, and give usgrace, and enlighten the eyes ofour hearts. Let us draw high andask God to accept our prayersaccording to His will. For the sadand the sorrowful we beseech, thatGod may give them perfectconsolation92
