An InvitationA Great Opportunity for Corporate EngagementEach year across the state, Prevent Blindness Georgia serves more than 40,000 people by vision screening young children to ensure they are sight-ready to learn and by providing comprehensive eye exams, retinal screenings, and free prescription eyeglasses to the uninsured andunderserved.Imagine being out of work, needing a job to be able to care for your family, and not being able toread help wanted ads, fill out job applications, or drive safely to job interviews. Imagine not beingable to help your child with his or her homework or read a bedtime story. These arechallenges that the clients we have seen in our Vision Outreach clinics have faced, things theywere not able to do because they were unable to afford vision care or new glasses.You can join us in providing vision care and prescription lenses for these people by partneringwith us through a new event, the Sight Saving Summer Social on July 24th at Magnolia Hall atPiedmont Park.In the pages that follow, we describe some of the many ways you can support the programs ofPrevent Blindness Georgia by engaging in this new event.
