1BEFOREYOURFIRSTBREWYou’ll need to prime yoursystem by running twoFull Carafe brew cycles,using only fresh water.With your brewer pluggedin and powered on, fill thereservoir with fresh waterup to, but not exceeding,the Max Fill line. Place theempty carafe under thebrew basket, then selectFull Carafe and Classic Brew.When the first cycle iscomplete, discard the waterin the carafe and repeat.After completing twowater-only priming cycles,you’ll be ready to brewdelicious coffee.FILLING THE WATER RESERVOIRBecause water boils at lowertemperatures at higher altitudes,running a calibration cycle beforeyour first brew allows the unit todetect the boiling point of waterat your location. Refer to theOwner’s Guide for instructions.2For how-to videos and more, visit ninjakitchen.comREMOVABLE FILTER HOLDER & FILTER OPTIONSThe filter holder removes for easy filling and quick cleanup. Place either a paper filter orpermanent filter into the filter holder.
