COMMON COURSE NUMBERING CROSSWALKNote: This list includes common course numbering and other related course changes such as collisions and department/division prefixchanges.within the department abbreviation. For example: PSYCH 100now becomes PSYC& 100.Green River course numbers arechanging. Make sure you don’ttake the same class twice. If you have taken Green River courses with the previous numbers, your transferability will not be affected. These courses will transferjust as they would before. If a course is not labeled as a common course, it does not mean thattransferability is limited. The course will be considered astransferable using the same course content requirements as before. It is always important that you check the course descriptions atwww.greenriver.edu/catalog/courses/ default.aspx for all coursetransferability information.Common Course Numbering (CCN) is a new program that makescommonly shared courses among Washington community andtechnical colleges have the same course number and title.Recently, faculty from Washington state community andtechnical colleges have met to discuss the similarities in courses, and their course content. These courses, once identified, werethen given the same course numbers and titles. For thosestudents who transfer courses from one Washington statecommunity college to another, this will make that translation forcoursework much easier. These courses are identified by an “&”Green River renamed and renumbered 265 courses during the CCNproject. Be careful that you do not take the same course twice.Contact your advisor or visit our web site for more information.Old CourseNumberACCOUNTINGB A 110B A 111B A 112B A 113B A 118B A 121B A 130.1B A 130.2B A 130.3Old Course TitlePractical Financial Accounting 1Practical Financial Accounting 2QuickBooks for AccountingPractical AccountingIndividual TaxationPayroll AccountingQuickBooks: Introduction and CustomerSatisfactionQuickBooks: Vendor Transactions andBankingQuickBooks: Create and Invent ACompanyOldCreditsNew CourseNumber555555ACCT 110ACCT 111ACCT 112ACCT 113ACCT 118ACCT 121ACCT 130.1New Course TitleNewCredits55555511ACCT 130.211ACCT 130.311ACCT 130.4B A 130.4QuickBooks: Payroll and Balance SheetQuickBooks: Estimates, Job Costing,B A 130.5TimeB A 175Instructor AideB A 210Financial Accounting 1B A 220Financial Accounting 2B A 230Managerial AccountingANTHROPOLOGYANTHR 100Introduction to AnthropologyANTHR 194Special TopicsANTHR 201Biological AnthropologyANTHR 202Sociocultural AnthropologyANTHR 203Principles of ArchaeologyANTHR 204Introduction to Linguistic AnthropologyANTHR 205Introduction to Medical AnthropologyANTHR 206Introduction to Anthropology-Religion11ACCT 130.515555ACCT 175ACCT& 201ACCT& 202ACCT& 203Accounting Instructor AidePrinciples of Accounting IPrinciples of Accounting IIPrinciples of Accounting III55555555ANTH& 100ANTH 194ANTH& 205ANTH& 206ANTH& 204ANTH& 207ANTH& 235ANTH& 234Survey of AnthropologySpecial Topics-Anthropology 1Cultural AnthropologyArchaeologyLinguistic AnthropologyCross-Cultural MedicineReligion and Culture1555555555555
