SMARTPLAY BLE CONTROLLERWall Mount / Handheld SmartPlay BLE ControllerThe Svarochi Smartplay BLE Controller is a WallMount/ Handheld Controller meant tobe used with Svarochi Lighting products. The Smartplay BLE Controller uses inbuiltBluetooth Low Energy Mesh Control Technology to control the Svarochi Lights,without the need for a Mobile phone and can operate the Lights independently ofthe mobile devices.The SmartPlay BLE Controller is a simple and user-friendly Controller which allows theuser control of upto 4 Groups of lights and Dimming and Tuning Control, dependingon the Type of Svarochi Lights used.The SmartPlay BLE Controller can control Lights from the following ranges of Svarochi:-Bright and Dim (Dimming Control only)-Warm and Cool (Dimming Control and Warm to cool tuning)-Colour and Daylight PLUS (Dimming, Warm to Cool and Colour)5) Once the Bracket is installed properly on the wall, insert the remoteinto the wall mounting bracket and it should rmly be held in placewith the help of the magnetic dock. The Remote can be used asmounted in the Wall mounted Dock or can be taken out for use as ahandheld when required,.6) Please note that the Smartplay BLE Controller requires 1# of Li-onCR2450 Battery for usage and must be inserted in the remotebefore use.PROGRAMMING AND CONFIGURATION INSTRUCTIONS1) Please install the Svarochi app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store as applicable for your MobilePhone. In case you do not have a registered user ID, please create a new User ID.SPECIFICATIONS:2) Once the User ID is created, please create a project (or add lights to existing Project) in any room. Once the Lightsin the room are paired and con gured in the respective room, the Handheld Controller can then be added tothat room to control upto 4 groups of lights.Power Source–LI-ON CR2450 BatteryControl Range– 15m without any obstructions3) The Remote control is supplied in unpaired mode – to pair the remote, please switch on the remote by pressing thebutton on the side – this will activate the remote and the Blue Light will start ashing to indicate pairing mode.Control Technology–BLE MeshDimensions–TBD4) In the Svarochi App, enter the same room when the Remote is to be connected with the Lights and also ensurethat you are physically present with the Smartplay Controller in the same room.Mounting–Wall Mounting (with supplied Bracket) / Handheld5) The Svarochi controller will show up in the list as a “Control Switch”. Click the icon to pair the device and add it tothe BLE network.6) Once the Smartplay Controller is paired, click the Gear icon in the app next to the SmartPlay control switch. Thiswill allow for linking of the A-B-C-D buttons to groups of lights.7) Click the A button (in the app) and de ne the Group of Lights to the controlled by the A switch. Similarly repeat theprocess for B-C-D buttons.INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS8) The Smartplay remote is now con gured for the control of these 4 groups of lights.1) Separate the remote from the bracket by pulling gently to releasethe Magnetic Lock.9) Press the A button on the Smartplay Controller to test – it should toggle that group to ON-OFF depending oncurrent state. Similarly, test all the other groups B-C-D to check control. In case any group in not assigned properly,please repeat from step 6 above.2) In the lower part of the bracket, there is small slot at the bottom (asshown) – insert a small screwdriver here to release the wallmounting piece from the front part of the bracket.)10) Once the Group Linkage is de ned, the Smartplay controller will be able to control the respective group of Lightsfor Dimming, Warm to cool Tuning or Colour Control (Depending on the type of Lights used) with the help ofbuttons as shown.3) Mount the bracket on the wall with the help of two small screws inthe holes as indicated with the arrow facing upwards. (Professionalhelp suggested for drilling and plastic inserts)4) Once the bracket is rmly attached to wall, insert the front piece(which will click into place) making sure that the arrow on the Backis aligned with the arrow on the mounting bracket for proper tment. The Hold Time is the Time for the which the sensor holdsthe Lights on at full level after motion is detected. Thismeans that when the sensor detects motion in thesensing area, it will keep the lights on for the selectedHold Time. Recommended setting for the Hold time is 15Min for Of ce areas. The Sensor can identify day/ night using the ThresholdDaylight sensor. The Sensor setting can be adjustedfrom 3 Lux – 2000 Lux. At 3 Lux it will switch on the lightsonly when it is completely dark. At 2000 Lux it will switchon the lights even in the day. Any intermediate settingcan be selected based on user preference.Recommended setting for the Lux level Threshold is 300Lux. The Standby Light level can be set between 10%-30%. This is the lower Light level to which the sensor reduces theLight level after the Hold time (as set above in step 1) has lapsed. The Recommended Standby level for Of ceapplications is 20%. The Standby Hold Time is the Time for which the Sensor waits for Motion at the lower Light level as set. In case nomotion is detected within the standby Hold Time, the sensor can switch off the Lights – This feature will work only ifthe Lighting Load is wired out from the sensor. In case of open plan of ces, it is recommended to keep the standbyhold time to . For other applications where switch off feature is required after standby and the wiring to lightingload has been done through the sensor, please set at 30 Min. For the sensor Manual settings to work, please press RESET button on the Remote Control rst.
